-Color scheme match the rest of my PC set up
-Satellite Speakers(2 of them, black and gray) small enough to fit near my monitor without blocking it out.

-Remote feels solid and take a bit of abuse
-Very easy set-up, just plug speakers into sub-woofer and then from the sub-woofer to the correct port on your PC
-Quick delivery from newegg as usual. Got here a day early

Cons: -No control for the sub-woofer directly(more of less bass), but for me it doesn't matter I can use software for that

Other Thoughts: Cord on the controller is kinda small at only 4 feet or so, so it could be to short if the sub-woofer is located underneath it.

Pros: powered sub. lots of bass. nice sounding satellite speakers. sleek looking. the wires are a good length. i have the sub set on the floor and the satellites sitting on the desk.

Cons: balance issues between the sub and satellites. A graphic equalizer helps a bit. I rolled off on the lower frequencies.

Other Thoughts: Nice overall sound for the price. I bought this at Best buy. Sounded better than similar priced insignias.

Pros: These are very nice speakers. I was at Target today, and I was looking at these, they sound great! As long as your computer sends out HD Audio, then these will be amazing. You can use these for Audio devices, like Ipods, MP3 players, MP4 players. I recommend these to any smart person out there. These were almost as good as the $250 Bose speakers next to these on the shelf! I am probably going to buy these really soon, because I got some $20 speakers by Eagle, they suck compared to these.

Cons: The switch has little functions, you can plug your headphones into it though, which is decent I guess if you have more then just you in a room or something for night. The volume control is a little cheap looking, but it works. I would take a egg because of this, but they sound to amazing.

Other Thoughts: Once again, if you want speakers that are going to last long, sound awesome, and give you some kick, buy these. You will not need new speakers for a long time. Well, I congratulate anyone who buys these :D

Pros: Sounds great, I have had no problems with them except for 1, which is probobly my fault.

Cons: The bass speaker ripped a little bit prob from me playing it loud, but I cut up a bandaid and patched it up, its working good as new again

Pros: For a budget set of 2.1 speakers, they handle moderate amounts of base & volume (obviously not going to matche par with the z540's) for speakers of this range. And considering the price, if you're stuck with an onboard & too cheap to spend double the price for a 5.1 card & speaker setup, these will definitely get you by/

Cons: While the volume control does feel a little cheap at first, it's surprisingly sturdy. Still, it builds more confidence in new customers to avoid the cheap-feeling on the volume controller. Not much else I can find to complain about on these guys.

Other Thoughts: Decent for a budget sound setup, but if you have the extra green to blow, go for the x-540 or z-5500's.
