Phanteks PH-TC14PE_RD twin tower thermal radiator design uses the latest aerospace technology. By using P.A.T.S to increase cooling performance and C.P.S.C Technology to enhance thermal conductivity, heat will easily dissipate, creating an opportunity for greater overclocking. Combined with Dual Phanteks PH-F140 Premium 140mm Fans, easy-to-install SoliSku mounting kit and PH-NDC thermal compound, Phanteks PH-TC14 with unique colored is setting the new standard of today.

  • newegg Exclusive P.A.T.S (Physical Antioxidant Thermal Shield) The Exclusive P.A.T.S (Physical Antioxidant Thermal Shield) will greatly increase the cooling performance and reliability while deflecting other thermal radiation from other heat sources, such as the GPU, South Bridge, North Bridge, etc. P.A.T.S, ran at a long period, will display significantly better results in an enclosure, closed environment, than a tech station, open environment. In extreme conditions, PATS is able to withstand temperatures of up to 200 degrees Celcius. P.A.T.S is environmental friendly and non-toxic.
  • newegg Unique C.P.S.C (Cold Plasma Spraying Coating Technology) The unique C.P.S.C (Cold Plasma Spraying Coating Technology) is a brand new technologic forming deposit that displaces heat onto corresponding metals at a quicker rate. With this technology, the Phanteks PH-TC14PE enhances thermal conductivity on the soldered surfaces of the heat-pipes through the copper deposits.
  • newegg Five 8mm heat-pipes Designed with dual tower radiators; the PH-TC14PE has five 8mm heat-pipes linearly aligned to ensure optimal cooling. This cooler is made to have the least amount of air and thermal resistance.
  • newegg Dual premium 140mm fans Phanteks PH-F140 premium 140mm fans use Updraft Floating Balance (U.F.B) bearing, nine Maelstrom Vortex Booster (M.V.B) blades, to achieve massive airflow and perfect dynamic balance. To reduce noise level, the fan emits a low dBA with the support of the acoustic rubber damper and rubber-bar to help eliminate vibration.
  • newegg Broad compatibility The SoliSku universal mounting kit provides an easy-to-install rotational backplate for Intel LGA 2011/1155/1156/11366/775 and AMD AM2/AM2+/AM3 (stock backplate required ).
  • newegg Superb thermal compound included The included PH-NDC is a superb quality thermal compound for heatsinks. It is made of high-purity nano diamond like particles to improve the thermal conductance between components. The generated heat caused by the CPU will transfer to the heatsink, without reduction in efficiency and resistance.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This is an amazing cooler. I wish I would have gotten the black one but it was out of stock at the time I was purchasing everything and I didn't have the patience to wait. It keeps my 3930K below 60 degrees even at 100% load on all the cores. It's a big piece of metal but it looks great in my case.

Cons: I wish the fans weren't white.

Getting your hands between the heat sinks to screw on the mounting plate is almost impossible.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome COOLER!

Pros: I love this cooler! It's red, it's big, and with both fans on it's still super quiet! It keeps my CPU overclocked at 4.0Ghz super cool!

Cons: I wish it had a little bit more clearance for my RAM. I had to remove all the heat spreaders off the RAM because it wouldn't fit and I didn't want to raid the fan on the heat sink. Other than that, it's perfect! I refuse to knock an egg off for this small detail. I was aware of it before I bought it.

Other Thoughts: My build:

5 out of 5 eggsWOW! HUGE! SUPER COOL!

Pros: Ok. We all know this thing is big, huge, ginormous, etc. Now that we have that out of the way I want you to know that my 3930k is running at 29C. The installation on my 2011 socket was a breeze. The hardest part was getting the fan clips on properly. The unit is much quieter than I thought possible with the 2 fans. I might buy a 3rd fan just for the heck of it. I sure don't need it. If you have the room, this is the finest air cooling solution available. Enjoy!

Cons: The fan clips are a pain.

Other Thoughts: This is the best air cooling HSF on the planet. I truly thought about water cooling, but I would have to give up my top fan in my Thermaltake Level 10 GT case. Then I started thinking about water and electricity. They don't mix. I wanted to keep the top fan and have maximum cooling. This gave me the best of both worlds.

5 out of 5 eggsthe best

Pros: this baby keeps my 2600k at 4.6ghz and havent seen a single blue screen. it was very easy to install.

Cons: i didnt know my ram would be hitting the fans so i had to move the fan from the front to the back of the heatsink and also move my ram sticks to slot 1 and 2 since i didnt have low profile ram.

Other Thoughts: wish it was totally red or the white was black so it would mach my case better

5 out of 5 eggsawesome!!!

Pros: Work very very well, barely audible, nerver use a cpu heatsink able to beat my corair hydro h100!!ithe H100 is very noisy at maximum speed!! OC my i7-3770k@4.7ghz and never reach 50 degree celcius!!
the thermal paste is superd quality too!!

Cons: nothing but a medium tower case is to small, the heatsink is to big ,i can't put my side panel !!

Other Thoughts: installation is more easy than i expected, just assure you that you see properly the 4 hole of your motherboard if not,you need to remove the board to fix the X clamp under it and after resite it in the case, you need a long X screwdriver or one with extra plug but nothing to scary about!!!

1 out of 5 eggsno good

Pros: ha. it looks cool.

Cons: extremely large. did not fit. well, if i took all my ram out it would. did not fit inside a thermaltake level 10gt case. crosshair v formula mb. if you use no ram, it fits. (and take out top and back fan it barely barely fits. ) i said RMA. and never again. i think im stopping shopping at newegg if they dont rma.

5 out of 5 eggsgood cooler

Pros: Lowered my temp by 3 degrees over my Coolermaster V6. Is almost silent. The red/white color scheme looks surprisingly good on My ROG motherboard.

Cons: Not PMW fans

Other Thoughts: Like everyone else has said it's ridiculously big. Barely fits in My HAF X. After I shifted the side fan air duct to up it fit like a glove. I added the third fan & had to nudge it up a few centimeters to clear my G.Skill Ripjaw memory. Looks a little bit funky but a small price to pay for the satisfaction of hearing a noob look at it & ask if I had installed another computer on top of my CPU.

5 out of 5 eggsPhanteks 140mm CPU Cooler

Pros: I ordered even knowing that there would be RAM height interference. I just used some wire-clippers and clipped the vertical tabs the hold the cooling fans on until I had enough clearance. NOT RECOMMENDED IF YOU MIGHT RETURN IT. I am running it stock (no replacement fans or an extra fan) and I am happy with the temp and sound (very quiet).

Cons: The size is a huge factor in deciding if this is the right CPU cooler for you- not only in case clearance but RAM as well. The one thing I didn't see anyone else mention, on AMD chip motherboards, after removing the stock bracket and attaching the replacement ones to the backplate, the cooler is then attached by a single thumbscrew with a very small allen-head hex hole in the middle. The size of the cooling fins makes tightening this screw by fingers impossible (and I have small hands/fingers), and the height of the unit is too tall for most allen wrenches. I had to hold one with a needle-nosed pliers and push down while turning- which was a MAJOR pain in the A**. Bad design using an allen head screw instead of phillips. Also, the spring under the screw for keeping the unit snug is really tight requiring way more down pressure than should be necessary- and could lead to overtightening and damaging your CPU/MB. BEWARE!

Other Thoughts: Screwing the unit on is a MAJOR pain- see above. (Once on it's wonderful, but getting there may make you want to return it.)

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Cooler

Pros: Works great. Cools stock Intel Core i7 3960x cpu at 32c-40c idle, and 60c all settings maxed, under full load. Price for performance is exceptional. Have not tried OC yet but I intend to incrementally. It shows promise.

Cons: Somewhat difficult, and confusing to install. Does not clear my Corsair Dominator DDR3 2133Mhz Ram. Going to have to find some low latency ram of the same speeds, or figure out a way to remove the heat spreaders on them.

Other Thoughts: OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit
PROCESSOR: Intel Core i7 3960X @ 3.30 GHz
GRAPHICS: Zotac GTX 580 3GB (2X)
MOTHERBOARD: Asus Rampage IV Extreme
HARD DISK: OCZ Vertex 4 128GB, Raid 0
POWER SUPPLY: Lepa G 1600 Watt
CASE: Cooler Master HAF X
