4 out of 5 eggsGreat product

This review is from: CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Extreme Performance Water/Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm

Pros: East to install
Sealed unit
All the extra fans DONT connect to the mainboard and use up my case fan slots

Cons: Instructions are terrible. Worst i have ever seen. I had to YouTube where to put the "Y" cables that connect to the base. Instructions simply say "Use the Y cables provided". It doesnt even tell you where to put them.

Other Thoughts: Solid cooling, i have friends that use this on the Intel thye have (i7) and im using it on the AMD i got. Quite, solid, no messing with standard liquid cooling issues ... great price as well.

5 out of 5 eggssimply amazing

This review is from: CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Extreme Performance Water/Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm

Pros: great cooler

Cons: some on the fins in the radiator were bent but I was able to straighten them out with pliers, only like 4 of them were crinkled so it wasn't really worth the effort to return.

pre-applied thermal paste, I always take this stuff off right away and put on artic silver 7, I don't know anyone who wouldn't do the same

Other Thoughts: haven't overclocked yet because I've only had it on a day and a half but its 49º outside right now and my idle temp is sitting at 54º, seems like its doing its doing its job

4 out of 5 eggsMake sure it can fit

This review is from: CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Extreme Performance Water/Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm

Pros: Great looking, seemed very sturdy and well thought out.

Cons: I have a CM690 case and the ASUS X99-A motherboard interferes with the radiator placement of the H100i. The ATX power connector is located in spot which does not allow for me to install the 2 fans on the radiator. The H100i is in perfect condition. It was never connect to the CPU. I think the H80i would suit my case better.

Other Thoughts: Hopefully my RMA goes well and I can get an H80i instead

5 out of 5 eggsgood cooling unit

This review is from: CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Extreme Performance Water/Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm

Pros: Installs easily. Keeps my Core i7-4790K cool.

Tip: Install HWiNFO.

Cons: The USB cable that comes with the unit assumes you have an available USB 2.0 socket free on your motherboard. You might be able to route a USB cable from the plug at the water block to a typical USB port but I haven't tried it. Regardless, the unit works without the USB cable plugged in which is only used from what I can determine by Corsair Link software.

I ran into this when installing the unit, but I wouldn't consider it an issue worth an egg. However, if your motherboard doesn't have an available on board USB 2.0 socket and you plan to use Corsair Link, you might feel otherwise.

3 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Extreme Performance Water/Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm

Pros: Keeps processor at room temperature.

Cons: Did not fit in the Corsair 500R case that it was supposed to. The only possible way is if the board was a micro ATX.

The processor also arrived with some light physical damage, which makes me feel not-so-great about overall longevity.

The stock fans are also extremely loud at their highest speed, but very quiet at idle.

Other Thoughts: Overall I'd recommend it.

1 out of 5 eggsFAIL and FAIL again

This review is from: CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Extreme Performance Water/Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm

Pros: Kept my i7-4790k at 5Ghz with 40c average temps.

Cons: Stopped working after 35 days. Turning itself (pump AND fans) on and off repeatedly...

Got a warranty replacement. Pre-paid to have one expedited only to have mine received by corsair one day after their replacement arrived...sigh

And of course this one lasted all of 15 minutes with the same symptoms. This experience will scar me for life with Corsair Products...

Bought a Cooler Master Glacer to replace this junk! I have used Cooler Master before with excellent experiences!

Other Thoughts: the fan headers were a pain...didnt seem to fit anywhere till I noticed the pins had a plastic piece on them that made them look pinless and manual mentioned nothing of it.

3 out of 5 eggsWhat a pain to get it to work!

This review is from: CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Extreme Performance Water/Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm

Pros: Easy to assemble on the board. I got worried it was not sitting right at first due to it was loose before I mounted the cooler. After I mounted the cooler everything tightened up properly.

Its hooked up to an I7 2600(non-k) Overclocked 4 bins. Idle temps 22-27C duiing gaming 50c. Not much of an improvement over the stock cooler.

The only reason I bought it was due to the fact the stock coller would not reconnect to my new MB properly. The stock plastic pins which snap in would snap properly. I bought this from a big box store as it was my only option unless I wanted to wait for shipping.

This was my first go of an AIO its OK, But not impressed.

Cons: Now the bad. Software. JUNK!!! I have Windows 8.1. After 2 days to get it work I finally got it. Don't remember which rev# but it wasn't the most current. I think it was 2.5 or 2.7 not sure exactly.

Not much better than stock cooler, but it keeps my CPU cool and that was my main purpose. I would probably look at another model next time. I own alot of Corasir products. Keyboard, Ram and multiple PSU's over the years. This one is probably the worse thing I purchased from Corsair.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat CPU Cooler

This review is from: CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Extreme Performance Water/Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm

Pros: Keeps the CPU ice cold..t better than my old CPU fan did.
Alot quieter than I thought it'd be...

Cons: Installing this monster into your case might be a hassle if you dont
have a large case, even might be impossible for some mid atx cases.

The Tubes for the cooler don't really bend much, so you might have some issues there...

Make sure you mount the two radiator fans first as you wont have space to do so inside your case... the instructions are a bit unclear when it comes to order of install.

Other Thoughts: Works great.. keeps the cpu where i want it to be, Quite as hell...
Barely notice it on.

5 out of 5 eggsLGA1150 pain

This review is from: CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Extreme Performance Water/Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm

Pros: Install wasn't a pain
Looks good
Keeping my CPU cool

Cons: The back plate slot for the cooler stand offs protruded from the mother board, had to get extra nylon washers, so back plate does not lay flush

Other Thoughts: Running a I5-4670K 3.4ghz overclocked to 4,6ghz with idle temps at 41-45 Celsius in game temps running around the mid 50's
