5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

This review is from: CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Extreme Performance Water/Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm

Pros: - Stays really cool even on high OC's and is very consistent
- great build quality and looks real nice
- LED lighting is awesome
- super easy to install
- the fans that it comes with are great and run quietly at standard setting and push a lot of air. At max speed they turn into jet engines

Cons: None actually

Other Thoughts: This looks really good when installed, better than most custom loops in my opinion. Really completes the build. I have my 3770k set at a stable 4.2ghz and running it under full load for hours on end it kept the temps around 60c on average. At idle it's around 28.

I've pushed my 3770k much further as well and the h100i keeps it cool still, but I game a lot every day so I keep it at 4.2ghz

I highly recommend this cooler for anyone who plans to do any OC'ing and wants their rig to look awesome too

4 out of 5 eggsCorsair H100i

This review is from: CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Extreme Performance Water/Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm

Pros: Keeps my CPU nice and cool, mid 60's under full load. Fans are fairly quiet on quiet or balanced settings.

Cons: Corsair link does not work properly. I cannot control my fans or the pump led. However, this is a known corsair software problem. Hopefully a fix is out soon.

2 out of 5 eggsdont waste your money

This review is from: CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Extreme Performance Water/Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm

Pros: It worked alright before the pump died. kept my de lidded 3770k at 5ghz and would get to about 95 deg after a few hours of running prime (small FFTs)

Cons: the backplate (even when installed the right way up) does not do a good job. I had to use washers so that it would apply a good amount of pressure on the cpu.

The unit died after about 1 year of use. the pump gave out.. luckily i always pay attention to my temps and i was able to shut everything down before anything got damaged. The temps jumped to 95 (idle) in a matter of seconds... had i been gaming, bye bye cpu.

Other Thoughts: Its just not worth the money (same goes for all these other high end coolers)

When this unit died.. i didnt want to wait for a RMA so i just bought another cooler... I bought that hyper tx3 (16.99) and this thing allows my chip to do 4.8 ghz at 92 degs after a few hours of prime.

h100i: 5ghz 95deg
tx3 4.8ghz 92deg

I mean if you got the cash, do w/e but if your pump fails while gaming, you will damage your cpu.

5 out of 5 eggsWicked Awesome!

This review is from: CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Extreme Performance Water/Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm

Pros: High Capacity Air-Flow.
Giant Radiator with good surface area.
Tight Pipe Connections.
Quick Installation.
Lights up White Corsair Logo.

Please see Other Thoughts for Testing Results

Cons: Zip
Zero
Nada

Other Thoughts: NOTE: I have not yet tested the software, due to SDD failure. I will test that later and post.

SYSTEM SPECS:
ASUS Rampage IV Black Edition
Intel Core i7-4820K
G.SKILL Ripjaws Z 32GB DDR3-2133 Quad Kit
NVidia GeForce GTX 780 Ti
Windows 8.1 x64

At normal load, the H100i leaves my CPU at 30°C. At maximum load, overclocked to a stable 4.9GHz, it keeps it at a solid 49°C and it never goes higher.

Test Game: BF4
CPU Test Software provided by ASUS ROG

I am sure, if you download and install the software, it has the capability to make the fans whisper quiet. However, my ASUS MB has the ability to control the fans, as they plug into the CPU Fan ports. This is probably so that the system doesn't freak out too.

4 out of 5 eggsBeast

This review is from: CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Extreme Performance Water/Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm

Pros: this cooler is a beast. My reviews aren't verified I guess because I'm from Jamaica so I use a shipping company to order my goods through. with that said... the average temp in my room is 32 c and the h100i kept my stock fx8350 between 16c and 25c idle and a max of 35c on full load. now I have it oc to 4.7 GHz at 1.467v and idle its at 32c to 40c and on full load it never passes 55 on balanced mode. never have to use high performance. this cooler is a beast considering its hot where I am!!

Cons: hmm.... I would say the software is quite buggy. its the slowest thing on my computer and each time I reboot I have to edit the l.e.d again even though i have saved the profile which is annoying. the software just plain sucks but hey.... you don't buy a cooler for the software. so only one egg gets deducted. The pump gets a bit annoying sometimes.... you can hear it over the fans when you turn your system fans down. that's no prob for me cuz I got a stereo at my desk but just keep that in mind

5 out of 5 eggsH100i fits in the Corsair 550D case

This review is from: CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Extreme Performance Water/Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm

Pros: The product's quality is awesome! I replaced the stock fans with Corsair SP120 Quiet Edition fans. I am running the Intel i7-4771 3.5Ghz (non-K series) processor and my idle temps are around 30 degree Celsius. Stress tested with Prime95, temps went up to 60 Celsius, but come back down to 30 degree Celsius again immediately after the load is stopped. Really shows how well this cooling system works! I am very satisfied with the product. The H100i fits at the top of the Corsair 550D case with no problem.

Cons: If I had to say anything remotely bad, it would be about the software. It's a little cumbersome to use, but it works fine. I am using this cooler while running VMware ESXi 5.5 hypervisor so it's not exactly a supported OS, but it works with USB pass-through to a Windows Server 2012 VM. I am not able to monitor the temps on my CPU, but I am able to set my fan speeds and my LED color. =] Good enough for my needs!

4 out of 5 eggswas worried about AMD cpu not anymore

This review is from: CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Extreme Performance Water/Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm

Pros: easy install, nice cabling features for cpu cooler and fans
bought this for my new AMD FX-8350 Black Edition Vishera 4.0GHz (4.2GHz Turbo) that all the reviews said ran hot so i didnt want to use the stock cpu fan.
NOT RUNNING HOT WITH THIS COOLER
idle i get temps of 34-36c after hours of video gaming might get up to 46c with fans on low turbo boost the fans and quickly brings back down to 40-42c i like to keep things cool to help extend the life. the highest temp i have seen was while burn in/stress testing was 56c. hoping it keeps these temps during the summer will update if anything changes.

Cons: software that came with unit was glitchy but after installing new version from website no problems i would recommend not even installing version that comes with it just go to the website and get the latest version deducted one egg for this issue

Other Thoughts: love the lighting schemes you can set up through the software, solid color, cycling colors or how i have mine to change color according to the temperature makes it easy at a glance what temperature range you are in

5 out of 5 eggsGreat cooling

This review is from: CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Extreme Performance Water/Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm

Pros: Great thermal dissipation. Amd FX 8320 O/C'd to 4.7ghz never goes above 50c while gaming and idle never above 10c

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: clear tubing with colored fluid would be nice but that's just personal preference

4 out of 5 eggsH100i Review

This review is from: CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Extreme Performance Water/Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm

Pros: Great cooling with limited noise and good software. I have had this keeping my 3670K (4.2GHz) running for at least 100+ Hours at 12 Hour chunks. It is very reliable.

Cons: The software freezes and crashes, the blue LED has gone out on it. So red and yellow are not an option. And you have to freaking take the whole thing out of the case to get the fans off! There is more good than bad, so I am rating a 4 star, but the cons are the quality of a 2 star product.

Other Thoughts: I like this a TON, and hate it a TON.
I mean the blue LED!
