Just bubble wrap and anti static pkg. Makes me wonder if this wasn't a used or returned item. Other Thoughts: Besides the packaging the drive works exactly as it should. Quiet spin all works right. Due to the packaging though I can only give 3 stars. Too much question on if its a returned product or not. I just built new computer so far and perfect smooth unlit OS part that where i can't forward. BIO recognized the disk but windows 7 can't recognize it. I checked list disk in command prompt and the disk is not there. I tried set SATA mode to AHCI and still same problem then set IDE and still no luck. I tried work on it for 2 days and installer won't recognize it no matter what i try do. I have no choice so took HDD to geek squad at best buy and test it. it said that HDD is fail and bad. how such disappointed.. I have to get other new one. >.> I'm broke..
