4 out of 5 eggsFast!

Pros: It is a very fast drive, and made with corsair quality

Cons: Too small!!... after using this for a little as my windows / gaming drive i quickly ran out of space.. i recommend buying this drive but with at least 128gb!

5 out of 5 eggsThe Last Piece

Pros: I was skeptical about jumping on the SSD train, but I am glad I did. I installed this drive as a secondary drive with just a handful of games on it. So far I am impressed by how speedy the games load. Any level change, zone change, or anything requiring drive access is noticeably faster than on the 7200 RPM drive. It's not instantaneous, but still very impressive. The next time I do a major hardware change (or just get bored), I will reinstall Windows 7 on the SSD and see how zippy things become. Even though SSDs are costly, this one was on sale, so it was a little easier to justify.

Cons: The price, as expected, is pretty high compared to HDDs. Non-Windows 7 OS users might run into performance issues. There are no instructions included with the drive, but the install should be pretty painless for anyone who knows how to install a hard drive.

Other Thoughts: If feels good to finally have a PC that is not wanting for new hardware, at least for the time being. Prices are dropping on these drives, so keep your eyes open. Now is fast becoming a good time to jump on board. And as always, Newegg is awesome.

5 out of 5 eggsSo Far So Good

Pros: My boot time into windows 7 professional x64 is about 15 seconds from cold boot to windows USE-ABLE with AIM and MSN Messanger loaded.

Comes with the 3.5inch mounting bracket which does the job nicely.

Windows 7 gives it a 7.0 rating

Cons: There really are none, I'll absolutely edit this if I do run into a problem, but I've used Corsair SSDs in 4 machines now (one of the older model 64GB ones back in November with no problems, and 2x 128GB reactors in two computers at work with no problems).

Other Thoughts: I highly recommend using Windows 7 with SSDs just because it's seemless installation. Windows 7 doesn't require any tweaking and altering when using an SSD like XP and Vista would. It also has full support for TRIM, something that is a must have if you will use an SSD

For those worried about storage space on this, After installing Windows 7 Professional X64 and all of the basic software I use (google chrome, firefox, AIM, MSN Messenger, Skype, avast, spybot, malwarebytes, handbrake, dvdfab, and a few others) I have about 45GB of space remaining. This is simply for an OS and applications drive, since that's where you want the performance anyway. I have a 1.5TB WD drive for storage, and this set up runs beautifully.

5 out of 5 eggsSpeedy little drive

Pros: Have had this drive for a week. Its FAST!!
Applications launch instant. Win 7 boots in seconds.

I use this for an OS drive..

Cons: Price

Other Thoughts: SSD's are priced high, but the speed is incredible...

Very happy with it so far

4 out of 5 eggsAwsome Drive

Pros: This hard drive is fast! I don't necessarily notice fast boot times, but applications launch instantly. I used this to replace a RAID 0 that died. I use this for my applications and have all of my data on a RAID 1 of 2 500 GB hard drives.

Cons: The price is an obvious draw back. Aside from that, there is only a 2 year warranty. I got this on sale for $30 off so I was willing to accept the shorter warranty period.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes what its supposed to do

Pros: Has the Indelinix (sp?) controller, supports trim

Cons: price

Other Thoughts: I ran some benchmarks and it did pretty well. 230mb/s read, 180 write normal. I use it for O/S and gaming so it fits my needs pretty well. I just wanted a drive with the better controller and TRIM.

3 out of 5 eggsyeah....no

Pros: -Access time is nil! Opening apps/windwows is instant!
-Windows 7 load time cut down by 50%
-Latest GEN, Supports TRIM

Cons: -P.I.T.A to image, had to do a clean install
-Had to use 3rd party utils to wipe (zero-fill)
-Nowhere NEAR advertised speeds!!
(read: 175mb/s to 219mb/s MAX) where's the 270?
(write: 119mb/s to 130mb/s MAX)

-Absolutely no utilities from CORSAIR

-Wanted to do two in RAID 0, but then the currrent drivers don't allow TRIM to be passed in RAID 0

Other Thoughts: It's definetly an improvement in access/seek times over two RAPTORS in RAID0!!

Read speeds for raptors were 136 MB/s, so getting 200mb/s AVG is still an improvement.

I'd reccommend this instead:
