5 out of 5 eggsDoes Exactly as it needs to

Pros: Simple, it's RAM, does what it needs to, got it for a decent price and it looks relatively flashy. This was my first computer I built and, well the RAM hasn't failed and I get what I need from them.

Cons: Don't know if I would consider this a con or not, but I'm maybe they're too flashy? I don't mind, I like em, but its not like they need to look like that, no one is ever really going see inside them.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for the price

Pros: nice looking ram for windowed case, very easy to overclock

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: this ram will take rediculous overclocks as long as it is kept cool

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: Stable, no issues, cheap when I bought it.

Cons: Ripjaws logo looks a little tacky.

Other Thoughts: Here is the JEDEC timing table as reported by CPU-Z:
685 - 9,9,9,24,33
761 - 10,10,10,27,37
838 - 11,11,11,30,41
800 (XMP) - 9,9,9,25,40,2T
1.50 V for all speeds

My motherboard defaulted to 800 (DDR3 1600)- 9,9,9,24,39,2T, been running at this speed for a year without issue.

5 out of 5 eggsEverything you need

Pros: 1600 - a great speed, and adequate for all but the most extreme applications.

Cons: Some RAM that I can never see because I don't have a window in my case is prettier?

Other Thoughts: I've used G.Skill for years with no regrets. It's great, fast, cheap RAM. DDR3 1600 with CAS 9 is sweet spot as far as price/performance.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat memory!

Pros: - Works very well, no problems so far
- Got this memory on sale for $49.99
- Looks great!

Cons: - These sticks are BIG! If you have a large aftermarket heatsink, it may not fit with this memory.

Other Thoughts: - Great ram, highly recommend.

5 out of 5 eggsRipjaws X series

Pros: Cheap and great quality.

Cons: The only real con is the heat spreader is high off the memory so a huge cpu heat sick is a no no.

3 out of 5 eggs8gb great size

Pros: They look awesome nice with a red system.
Heat sink instead of plain pcb.

I will knock 2 ggs off for sticks only lasting a month. What a bummer, RMA hopefully goes smooth

Cons: They only worked for about a month.

Manufacturer Response:

.
Dear Customer

Glad to hear you think the RAM looks awesome. This is one of our most popular kits ever, so we are certain you will be very pleased with it. The appearance, price, and performance is unrivaled by any other RAM. It is strange a module went bad, but send it in for RMA exchange and a replacement should work much better. The G.Skill RMA process is quick and hassle free, so you should receive a new module shortly. For any further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us directly.

Thank you
