This Ripjaws Series memory kit is designed specifically to complement the dual channel based chipsets, and eliminates data bottleneck by doubling your memory bandwidth. Optimized for speed, low latency and high stability, Ripjaws Series memory is the perfect solution to overall more responsive system.

Heat management is always important for any PC builder and enthusiast. G.SKILL understands this concern, which is why each Ripjaws Series DIMM comes with a stylish comb-like design heat-spreader, which dissipates heat by exposing it to cool air over a greater surface area and will look great in any case. These DIMMs also operate at a cool 1.5V for better internal temperature and compatibility.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Value

Pros: Price
Slim design with low height heat spreaders

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: This is my second time to buy G-Skill RAM. I bought my first set of these in January 2011 when I built my current desktop. At that time they cost $109.99. The price has really dropped so I bought another set to bring my RAM up to the 16GB maximum for my board. I use graphic intensive photography programs and am having no problems at all.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat ram

Pros: Low Profile heatsink
Low low latencies.

This is the 4th time i have bought G Skill ram and it does its job never had a bad stick yet.

Cons: NONE

Other Thoughts: I am running an LGA 775 motherboard with an intel core 2 quad on it and it was one of the few that were sold with DDR3 support. i initially bought G SKILL 1600MHz ram and found out that this motherboard only supports up to 1333MHz ram so i found this. great low latencies and works as advertised.

5 out of 5 eggsNot bad, cheap

Pros: Cheap when I bought them, I paid 49.99.
I was able to get them 1866Mhz without any problems other than raising CAS latency.

Cons: They didn't install themselves.

5 out of 5 eggsDon't Assume. WOOPS

Pros: .

Cons: .

Other Thoughts: Woops, I just assumed that my motherboard(Asus p5k3 deluxe) took 4gb sticks. I overlooked that somehow. Anyways, just friendly reminder to always check your mobo specs first. It'll save you a few days of returning and buying the right product. In my case I just ordered the G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (4 x 2GB). There not 7-7-7-21 timings, but I've read that they can be stable at those timings if you set them manually. Good day gents!
