5 out of 5 eggsGreat ram

Pros: No problems at all. Brought new life to my ASUS AM3 motherboard. Tight timings and BIOS recognized the ram right away.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I replaced 4 gigs of Kingston ram (that are working flawlessly for 3 years) with these when I upgraded from XP to 7. Glad I did. These are noticeably faster and make the PC a lot peppier.

5 out of 5 eggsGSkill Ripjaws 2x4GB F3-10666CL7D-8GBRH.

Pros: Delivered on time, free shipping.
Works flawless.
Not a stranger to the GSkill name.
7-7-7-7-21 timing which was needed for a Asus Z68 board.

Cons: None what so ever.

Other Thoughts: Gave this system a little more pump without overclocking.

5 out of 5 eggsHappy with purchace

Pros: This memory has been like all the memory I've bought from G.Skill - It allows me to install it, and forget it's even there.

Physically: The memory fits the slots solidly, not loose or tight. Runs at reasonable temperatures.
Logically: Passes intense memory testing easily. Latency and clock timing as advertised.

Cons: None

4 out of 5 eggs1 bad stick after a year out of 4

Pros: Fast, reliable, more memory than most people will ever use. Nice design.

Cons: Bought one set of sticks back in Feb of 2011, about a year and a half later, I noticed League of Legends was constantly crashing and giving me issues, so I started trying to figure out why, turns out one of the sticks was going bad and was turning up errors on the memory tests I ran.

Other Thoughts: Took it out, replaced it with another set in Nov 2012, so now I've got 3 for 12GB of RAM total, all running without fault. All-in-all, fairly happy with the purchase. Plan on upgrading to a set of 1866 2 x 8GB Ripjaw X series sticks when I next upgrade. With the exception of the one stick, G.Skill RAM has been pretty reliable and well priced for me, don't see me looking to any other company when it comes to RAM.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent for an AM3 Phenom II

Pros: Low latency, "just right" capacity for 2013 standards, affordable, fairly tasteful heat spreaders (low height and subtle. no cheesy blinger stuff) Reputable brand name that pays attention to buyer's concerns and problems. Also, the packaging was cost- and resource-effective. A little white sticker was included.

Cons: First kit had a defective stick. I had problems completing OS installs, fatal erors at apparently random times during setup. A Memtest86+ pass brought up errors almost immediately in a specific memory range. *These things happen, so I stand by my full positive review*

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic price and performance

Pros: Great timings, almost unbeatable for the price!
Low profile heat spreader, a must for water cooling.
Looks great, simple flat black.
PRICE! Fantastic price.

Cons: None so far, minus the fact I bought it after prices shot up.

Other Thoughts: Well worth the price, this ram out performs many other ram kits I've used. You will NOT be upset with this purchase.

5 out of 5 eggsBest bang for buck

Pros: Let's make this very simple.

DDR3 1333 at 7-7-7-21 timings outperform DDR3 1600 at standard timings, but cost about the same.

This is a review for DDR3 1333 at 7-7-7-21 timings.

For gaming, get this product. It's notably better than budget RAM, but isn't that much more expensive.

Cons: Technically, if you are willing to pay gobs of cash, you could do better than this. Or you could put that money toward something that will actually matter.

Other Thoughts: Be sure to change the timings to 7-7-7-21 in your BIOS. No need to change the voltage from its default of 1.5v.

If you want 16GB, compare the price of this against the 2 x 8GB setup. Two of this item was cheaper. (It still runs in Dual Channel mode, but don't tell G.SKILL!)
