4 out of 5 eggsGreat RAM, bad user.

Pros: Originally purchased this in december 2010 and four years later it is still going strong. I have zero complaints.

Cons: Decided to purchase another set to upgrade to 8gb. On my old set, the model number sticker facing you has the keyed notch oriented on the left half of the stick. On my new set, the model number sticker facing you has the keyed notch oriented on the right half of the stick.

Due to poor design my motherboard allows the RAM to seat in the slot and click into place even if the keyed slot is not in the right position. As you can imagine, through a combination of inconsistent sticker positioning, poor motherboard design, and (possibly above all) user error, I have a dead motherboard.

The memory might be fried too, not sure. I'm just disappointed I won't be able to use it now due to stupidity and poor circumstances.

5 out of 5 eggsG,Skill is good stuff

Pros: Typically if memory works out of the box it will go the distance. G.Skill typically always works right out of the box.. YAY...
good reliable cost effective memory
I'm a system builder, and have been since.... can you say Univac?
I'm always evaluating components for builds and G.Skill always ranks as some of the best for the cost.

Cons: wasn't free? didn't make me coffee?

5 out of 5 eggsBoth pretty and pretty cheap

Pros: I bought this RAM as a memory upgrade to a computer assembled in 2010. The latency and other specifications fall close to that of the RAM originally installed, which is what I looked for, as my LGA 1155 motherboard supports dual-channel RAM. The price is fair.

It's RAM, guys. It works.

Cons: I held the RAM by its crimson spines and pretended I was Xarthos, Destroyer of Worlds.

It's RAM, guys.

Other Thoughts: I feel a sense of accomplishment whenever I add parts to my computer which is followed immediately by the crippling realization that the howling gale of death circles above every man.

1 out of 5 eggsRMA - A JOKE

Pros: To bad, I can't give a rating of 0 eggs for this.

Cons: RMA - if you need help. Good luck! First you have to wait to get registered on the forum and next you need to wait for someone to get back with you about your RMA. I tried two times in the span of 8 months trying to RMA my memory. The service is so bad. I don't recommend to buy G.SKill to anyone.

Other Thoughts: I wouldn't recommend this brand to anyone. The lifetime RMA is a joke.
