Cons: Have to reset the timing from the default 1300 to 1600

Cons: G.Skill does not have the brand recognition that some other brands do, but I feel they deserve at least the same reputation if not more so. When reading some reviews of one other brands comparable memory, when users have problems they seem to blame themselves or just accept it rather than blame the product, since its reputation is so great. What's up with that?

Other Thoughts: IMHO the best way to install new RAM is to set all BIOS settings for memory and CPU to auto/default, meaning no OCing. Let it come up at standard settings to see if it works at all. Run some tests and if all is well, enable the EPP or XMP settings and see how it functions. If you are required to set the memory settings manually, IMO the BIOS software is flawed, SPD and the enhanced profiles are well known and defined, why not use them? If the RAM manufacture did not use them, that is even more curious. This is where the problems begin IMO, with headaches for users and manufactures. It does not surprise me that mainstream and enterprise products don't allow OCing and manual setting of complex parameters. I had a similar good experience with some GSkill DDR2 @1066. I've owned other brands but GSkill is my first choice. Check the replies or lack thereof to problems in other products reviews and decide for yourself who really seems to care about their customers.

Cons: Failed on me, worked nice for first 2 day then BSOD popping out

Other Thoughts: Got refund from newegg which why i have rated this as 2 egg and bought different series of ram from G skill brand on newegg and it works perfect

Pros: it looks nice?

Cons: after owning this ram for a year and never being able to get it to boot at the advertized 1600, 1 of 3 sticks have burnt out and im sure the others are soon to follow

Other Thoughts: i will choose a different manufacturer for my next ram purchase G-skill has made me very disappointed

Pros: The memory works as advertiesed. I believe price is fair.

Other Thoughts: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE --- Look at your Motherboards QVL(Quilfied Vendor List) this tells you what the motherboard manufacture recommends. THEN find out how to setup the memory timing on that board. With the new setups from suppliers the AUTO features usually do not get the settings you want. It takes 5-10 mins and saves hours of problems. For some reason Newegg.com was slow to process my order. It took a few days over normal to get it shipped. I still feel newegg is the #1 site to order from. Just keep me in the loop next time.

Pros: Honestly you aren't going to notice any difference between these and the Corsair Dominators.

2 kits (12 Gigs total) working great in my EVGA Classified Motherboard @ 1600 MHz 9-9-9-24-1t timings @ 1.5 volts

Other Thoughts: I started off with a single kit of this RAM in my EVGA Classified mobo. After 9 months, 1 stick went bad. Only took about a week for G.Skill to get a replacement kit to my door. While waiting, I had NewEgg rush-ship me another kit to avoid downtime. I now have both kits installed, and they're working like a champ. Didn't have to change a single setting.

Pros: Installed in a new system on a gigabyte X58A-UD3R. Recognized initially at 7-7-7-20 at 1066. A couple quick changes in the bios and they're 9-9-9-24 at 1600. Easy as pie.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I haven't attempted overclocking this memory, but I probably will in the future if/when I build a system for an enthusiast. This system was for a day trader, so no overclocking.

Pros: Does its job

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: getting another set soon

Pros: Very good ram. So far no trouble with compatability on the asus p5e3 pro motherboard. I love it, I hate to turn the speed down on it to stock fsb to make sure I had a stable system. I am sure this ram would work perfect with the rated speed I just don't want to take any chances.

Cons: none that I know of.
