5 out of 5 eggsGreat memory

Pros: Very good memory. Runs rated speed and timings with no BIOS mods. Using this in a Gigabyte EP45-UD3P. As always, Newegg is the best place hands down. Every friend I refer becomes a customer for life.

Cons: None really. Seems to sell out fast.

Other Thoughts: A little pricey, but then I have never regretted buying better memory.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid High Speed RAM

Pros: High speed with low voltage, built-in heatsink.... what's not to love?

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: This RAM works beautifully with my Gigabyte EP45-UD3P motherboard and Intel Q9400 processor. I've not seen the need to overclock it (my CPU usage hovers around 35% and the PC is plenty fast as it is), but I understand that the fact that this RAM starts with a low voltage would help if I went that route eventually.

5 out of 5 eggsFast; low power draw

Pros: Built a whole new rig with this as the RAM (see details in Other Thoughts). Wanted to game but not go crazy on power consumption or cost. So I bought this RAM along with Gigabyte board, 80+ certified PSU and Phenom II X2 545. MOBO recognized RAM at 1066 and dual channel with no problem. Paired new parts with ATI 3870 board from old PC and can run Fallout 3 at all max settings. Yesss.

Cons: Heat sinks on RAM are wide/thick?. Tight fit in slots, but acceptable.

Other Thoughts: RAM is pricey but worth it to get low voltage AND 1066 speed. First purchase of OCZ product, but would buy again.

Bought all the pieces from Newegg to build a new low-mid gamer PC for me.
Here's the new rig

5 out of 5 eggsCool Ram, really

Pros: Large solid aluminum heatsinks, low voltage, very stable overclocking ability and stays cooler than my corsair ram this replaced.

Cons: Price ? But quality doesn't come cheap , Ehh ?

Other Thoughts: These blade series do run cooler than alot of other ram companies I've used and this blade doesn't suck like the movies did..LOL !

1 out of 5 eggsPoor design and doa

Pros: na

Cons: 1. DOA... it happens

2. The heatsink that the ram has greatly increases it's thickness. If you're motherboard has ram slots right next to each other, which every mobotherboard I have used has, it causes the ram to push on each other twist the ram slots.

Other Thoughts: I didn't give the ram the one egg rating because of DOA. DOA happens... but the heatsink issue is serious amateur hour.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello, we have had few complaints about this heatspreader design. Perhaps your memory slots are spaced unusually close together. We are sorry about the problem with your memory and would be happy to assist you with troubleshooting on our support forums at the link below.
Thank you

5 out of 5 eggsgood low-voltage memory

Pros: Solidly made memory sticks with nice heat dissipation. Worked properly with Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P motherboard. I first bought 2 of these and then added another 2 within a week. MB recognized the 1066 speed without additional tweaking and showed specified 5-5-5-18 timing. Probably can be overclocked, but this is enough for me. Low voltage is an important feature that prevents potential problems. Most memories require 2.1 volts while most motherboards are set at 1.8 as default voltage. No prblems so far with this memory.

Cons: No cons. Seems to be great memory.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome!

Pros: These are some of the setting i have tested on my ud3p

They passed memtest 20x at DDR2-1100 5-5-5-12 PL7 tfRC46 @1.8v. (411x2.66D)

They passed memtest 20x at DDR2-1160 5-5-5-15 PL7 tfRC50 @ 1.9v. (435x2.66D)

They passed memtest 1x at DDR2-1188 5-5-5-18 PL7 tfRC60 @1.9v. (445x2.66D)

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent!

Pros: Very fast, and fully compatible. What else can you ask for?

Cons: Just a tad pricey, which is why I only gave it 4 eggs. With DDR3 Dual and Triple channel RAM becoming more and more common every day, there's really no reason why this ram should be this expensive.

Other Thoughts: After having issues with another popular brand's memory not wanting to operate at it's advertised timings, I returned them and bought this set. I am extremely impressed with this memory. Installed it with the advertise settings, and everything is working perfectly......and nearly 25% faster than my previous set!!

I've heard that this memory is a good overclocker. I, personally, don't have any reason to overclock them but I don't doubt that they will do a good job.

I chose the low voltage to decrease the heat inside the case, and just as advertised, they operated perfectly at 1.8V.

5 out of 5 eggsupgraded my ram

Pros: this ram is great, replaced 4 sticks of 1GB 1066Mhz @2.1v ram with these 2 sticks, ambient temp inside the case droped.

Cons: none so far.

Other Thoughts: replaced my 4 sticks of ram because EVGA told me that 4 sticks at those speeds with 2.1v was a bad thing in the 750i motherboard i had, so i replaced them with this ram.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: - Low voltage (runs at 1.7v @ 800 speeds).
- Bumped my performance index on memory from 5.7 to 7.3.

Cons: - Couldn't get 4 sticks stable @ 1066. I spent 3 hours rebooting over and over into memtest86. Tried almost every setting in my BIOS (~30 or so for ram alone) to get it stable.
- The ridges on the top of the ram hurts a little when you press it down. My fingers were sore for a few days because I had to swap out the ram several times.

Other Thoughts: - My guess is most BIOS don't have the timings available in the UI to get 4 sticks stable @ 1066. The highest timings I could set was 6-6-6-18, which probably isn't lax enough.
- I am still happy with the purchase. It was just my fault for trying to run aggressive speeds with 4 sticks :\
