This ram works with an ASUS P5N32-E SLI Plus 650i MB
- Pros: I have 4GB of this ram running stable at 5-5-5-5-12 2T on an ASUS P5N32-E SLI Plus 650i MB under Vista 64 Home Premium.
- Cons: Vista 64 has problems booting during install using 4GB of ram.
- Other Thoughts: Recommendation: Install one 2GB stick, install Vista 64, reboot system, connect to internet and run Vista updates, install Update for Windows Vista 64-bit versions (KB929777), reboot system, shut down computer, install second 2GB stick and reboot. Vista 64 should now boot without crashing. (system - Thermaltake 850W PS, Enermax Chakra case, Zalman 9700 cooler, Seagate Barracuda 7200 320gb SATA HD, Foxconn FV-N88XMAD2-ONOC 8800GTX Overclocked version, Intel C2D E6600, Plextor DVD-RW drive, Vista 64 Home Premium)
It Works, Part II
- Pros: As an update to my review last month, I liked the 4gbs so much that I ordered and installed another 4gbs in my ASUS P5K-E/WiFi. Everything stable and very fast with 8gbs in 64-bit Vista for the past few weeks. Adobe Photoshop uses 3gbs and is essentially instant. Video editing is very fast and stable. The price/performance/stability mark on this memory is very very good. PTB
