5 out of 5 eggsGreat RAM

Pros: It works perfect on a recent build I did. Memtest86 was ran for 24 hours and found no errors. The metal shielding is a nice feature. It helps when installing it. I suppose it would help with heat as well.

Cons: RAM prices being what they are, price dropped after I bought it.

Other Thoughts: I had some hesitation as I've never used ADATA RAM in the past. In looking over Gigabyte's documentation for the motherboard, they listed a different ADATA RAM model number as what would work in the motherboard. I'm happy to report this one works perfect in the below board.

CPU: AMD Athlon II X2 245 Regor 2.9GHz Socket AM3 65W Dual-Core
Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-MA785GM-US2H AM3/AM2+/AM2 AMD 785G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
Power supply: Antec 380w

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great!

Pros: Works like it should. No errors.Recognized with no problems.

Cons: Price dropped after I bought it.Not really a con.

Other Thoughts: I had 2 gigs of other ram that I had to remove first.Once the ADATA was recognized and booted I could reinstall the other ram.Works great with the 2 sticks of OCZ ram.

5 out of 5 eggsNo Brainer

Pros: This is my sixth set and they work right out of the box. Great quality for the price and has worked with every MB I have put it on without fail. Can not say that with Patriot and OCZ I have purchased in the past. No Brainer on this one Guys....

Cons: Non

Other Thoughts: New Egg rocks.... Would not buy anything anywhere else.

5 out of 5 eggsADATA means fantastic memory.

Pros: I just purchased my fourth set of these for home use. My gaming rig runs two sets of these (8gb total) and this is one of the few 4x2gb sets I have found that will work in my motherboard (see spec at bottom). I purchased the first 2x2gb kit when I built this machine in 2008 and it's still running identical to how it was when it was installed: perfectly. Memtest86+ still reports no errors and this memory just -works- without any headaches or complaints, no voltage adjustments necessary, running at standard clocks of course because overclocking DDR2 returns no significant windows or gaming performance increases no matter how far you go.

Cons: The price of memory has more than doubled since I bought the first set. Ouch.

Other Thoughts: I meant to buy this memory last week instead of today, but I accidentally bought ADATA's 2x2gb DDR3 1333 kit instead of this one because the price and color was the same and I didn't read the description carefully (I was trying to purchase some other products that were about to become sold out during a sale). I don't mind though, and I'm not returning it, I'm keeping it for a future build. ADATA offers cheap and very reliable memory. Period.

System spec:

ABIT IP35-PRO @1600 FSB
Q6600 @ 3.2
8gb of this memory (4x2gb in 1:1 @ 800)
Gigabyte GTX 460
XFX 750w PSU

5 out of 5 eggsRun Smooth and Quiet

Pros: Run Smooth and Quiet easy to install and fast catch browser

Cons: Install 2x 2GB of RAM = 4GB of RAM but it show only 3.25GB 0f RAM don't know why? not the fastest but it can get the work done.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent RAM

Pros: Very stable RAM. Worked straight of install with no issues. I bought 2 pairs of these sticks and used on two different motherboards. Great speed as well. First time buyer of this brand - it is a keeper. As always, Newegg rocks with great choices to buy quality components!

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggsGood long term memory.

Pros: Fast, Stable, low temp, and a great price.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I use my computer for both games, graphics, and office application. I have had no problems with this memory (8 gigs and Windows 7). I ran a memory test after one year of use and everything is still running great! If I was upgrading my computer I would still use this memory.

5 out of 5 eggsdoes the job

Pros: works just as expected. I haven't done much over-clocking. I have this paired up with an older set of the pink DDR2 800 a-data. I like the blue a lot more.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I've always used adata for my own computers, and they've never done me wrong.
