Cons:* Difficult to run on AMD platform without watercooling or something cooled (LN2, Phase, D-ICE) Other Thoughts: I just wanted to make sure that EVERYONE, including the person that left a review below Knew that the reaon that these Modules are Difficult to run on a 790FX AMD platform is that the Highest "supported" Ram Frequency for the Phenom (and all amd CPU's) Chip is only 1333Mhz. This info is also listed online on many forums. Avoid like the plague. Hopefully tech support can work this out. Use up to 1600 till they get its tested. deathgamer 6/5/2009 11:50:03 PM Tech Level: 5/5 Ownership: 1/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 1/5Not compatible with 790fx gd70 Pros: None Cons: Got d3 error on board meaning memory not compatible. Did some google searching and found that with the GD70FX AM3 motherboard, you have to install slow memory first. Then download the 1.2 or higher bios, and flash it to the board before it will even boot with the memory. Most high speed ram does not seem to like the motherboard with 1.1bios THIS IS BULL!!! Other Thoughts: Going to see if anyone in my town has ddr3 DDR3 1333Mhz to fix this problem.
