Pros: Corsair Memory DDR2 lasted 3 years and they stood behind the warranty and were quick to replace it but watch the web forms you fill out as mine went to the wrong dept. and I had to call but the customer service was great and very helpful so in less 30 days I have my new replacement and it would have been sooner but for their confusing web page makes and models offered do not quite match all their products!

Cons: Web Master or page designer needs to update the kinds of products so you can match your product Make, serial, and model correctly!

Other Thoughts: Am pleased due to a very courteous man in their customer service department that went out of his way to fix my problem!

Pros: These work. Not DOA. Helped my old Dell 8400 w/ Pent 4. Only runs at 533, but that's all the cpu supports.

Cons: not any.

Other Thoughts: Went from 1G to 2G. Have had for over a year w/ no problems. Need 1 more gig.

Pros: works with dell

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: buy them

Pros: I use Corsair RAM any time I can, as they have been pretty reliable for me. This set put a little extra juice in an old PC I'm setting up as a home server. Will keep buying Corsair until they stop working.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I guess with RAM it's sometimes a toss-up as to what people should buy, especially when you're not building a gaming rig. I think it comes down to brand familiarity and looking at the past reviews. Let me say that I have gotten bad RAM from Corsair before, but the few times I've had to use their RMA process it's been fast and easy. I think people should buy this with confidence.

Pros: First this is not intended to be a "bad" reveiw and in no way should reflect on NewEgg as they are always great. The memory works as it should and the specs match what is listed on the website. Gave me a scare when first installed (post error beeping) but after reseating twice it began working.

Cons: Specs for this memory has is slower than it once was.

Other Thoughts: This review is really a bit of a complaint to Corsair. I purchased (2) x 1GB of this memory three years ago for my son's computer partly because it was about the fastest thing going at the time that was compatible with the computer it was going in. When I decided to add more memory to his computer I ordered the same model memory. My fault for not verifyting the specs but the model number and everything was the same "CORSAIR XMS2 TWIN2X2048-6400". When I went to install it I was suprised to find the newer memory was slower than the older memory???

The 3yr old Corsair XMS2 memory has 4-4-4-12 timing.
The new Corsair XMS2 memory has 5-5-5-18 timing.

My fault for not verifying the specs were the same before ordering but and I am very disapointed that Corsair is selling the same model memory with much worse specs.

Also disapointed since I could have gotten CAS 4 memory from another well know manufacturer for about the same price.

Pros: 4 years into it, and still going strong.

Cons: Zero

Other Thoughts: Corsair makes a good quality set of RAM sticks. From what I hear they still frequency test every set of sticks before they ship them.
That's not to say that other Companies do not.
I've always been pleased with all of the products I've gotten from Corsair.
I bought a mid-tower the other day through here from them. We will see about how I think the cable management is.
But that will be another review.

Pros: You can't go wrong with Corsair memory. This memory is now in my backup rig that I am using as a data storage center. It has never given me any trouble, and I would recommend it to anyone.

Cons: None

Pros: Memory worked great immediately after install

Other Thoughts: I've been buying Corsair memory for a long time and it has never disappointed me. Can't recommend this brand enough.

Pros: RMA service has always come through!

Cons: I have purchased two different sets at different times and now I just completed my third RMA. Longevity past three years just isn't there.

Other Thoughts: Do you stick with the devil you know or switch brands? I think I'm switching next time.

Pros: None

Cons: Purchases 4 sets of these from Newegg. One went bad. Got an RMA and sent 2 back because they wouldn't accept just the bad one. So far no returned memory. One of my computers is down 2 gigs. All I get from Corsair is emails giving me the run around. Never again Corsair, you lost a good customer. Don't make the same mistake I made they will not honor their lifetime warranty.
