Pros: These look incredible in my case. Matches my blue LEDs perfectly. Oh yeah, they are also totally functional.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I will eventually get around to buying another pair of these!

5 out of 5 eggsexcellent mid to high performance ram

Pros: Fast easy to install stays very cool even in an air cooled rig easily overclocked

Cons: bit expensive but built well enough to justify the price

Other Thoughts: pretty tall if you have large water blocks or large heat syncs or sometimes even some of the newest massive graphics cards you may have some trouble installing thes in all four slots i would reccomend a full tower case to allow for breathability and easy install ive had 2 of these for over a year with zero problems and just bought a second set to double the ram in my system(16 gigs) works very well with my amd build im not familiar with intel products but i would speculate that they would work just as well

5 out of 5 eggsCool Blue Vengeance

Pros: - Looks awesome in my build, I have a window so looks were somewhat important to me and the fact that Corsair makes this style in a few different colors was nice
- works really well, I have overclocked with them and they held up really well
- I trust Corsair to put out good products

Cons: - Little more expensive that others with the same specs

Other Thoughts: Honestly, I wasn't really sure how different the speeds of RAM were, and when I found out how minute the differences were I saved some money and went 1600. 8Gb is plenty to run everything out there right now with near-top specs and overclocking helps a little bit. I'm really happy with these sticks!

1 out of 5 eggsDied after 1 year

Pros: Worked for a year

Cons: Bought the 8GB kit in May 2013. In June 2014 one of the chips fried. I just wanted to add my experience to the several others who have had their chip(s) last approximately a year to better educate anyone thinking of purchasing.

Other Thoughts: Hope this helps

5 out of 5 eggsCORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB)

Pros: Owned these since 12/2012 and have worked flawlessly since out the box. My computer runs 24/7 365 and even have recently been moved to my new rig on my new ASRock MOBO and still run 100% perfect. Great investment.

Cons: NONE

Other Thoughts: The blue heat sinks add a very nice touch/finish to the inside. Especially if you have those cases with the window of the side and MOBO's that are black or blue.

1 out of 5 eggsWorse ram I've ever owned

Pros: Looks cool and will work for about a year if memory was a consumable...

Cons: It worked fine for a year then I started getting random BSOD. I didn't think it would be the memory since I ran memtest and it never came back with errors. After replacing my power supply and finally pulling out the memory and putting it in my brothers pc I finally found the issue. The memory ran for 4 hours in my brothers pc then it crashed and refused to start up. This is the worse ram I've ever owned.

Other Thoughts: I've had geil and OCZ memory that were shipped overseas that are more reliable than this.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear customer,

1 out of 5 eggsStick failure after 6 months

Pros: Was great and speedy.

Cons: RAM stick shot after 6 months of use.

Other Thoughts: I've had these for about 6 months now. Worked great, nice and speedy, stayed about 20-30% on my computer at all times. Just what I wanted. I never did anything to push the RAM to its full extent, I just wanted a buffer and enough space to do digital art and run photoshop decently when needed.

However- Today while I was simply browsing the web, my computer crashed with a memory error. Restarted it- refused to and went into a loop of restarting and shutting down without breaching the boot screen. Turned it off by the power supply, went in and pulled out and put back in the RAM sticks. Thought maybe that they had just been rattled a little bit out of their place (how I don't know but it was worth a shot), computer started up just fine. Out of curiosity and wariness, I opened up task manager to keep an eye on things, where I found it hovering at 50%+. That was odd. I didn't have anything open. Checked the computer information, only 4 GB is registered. Both RAM sticks are fully in place, meaning one is shot.

Very, very disappointed that one RAM stick only lasted 6 months. These products have such a high reputation and I expected this to last me a long while, not half a year. Now I fear that the other one is just as close to giving out. Very disappointed.

2 out of 5 eggsReads incorrectly in CPU-Z and BIOS

Pros: I received the correct package and labeling that I ordered. I didn't have significant stability issues when supplementing to existing RAM.

Cons: I installed this to add to my existing RAM (PC3-12800 4GB x2 not Corsair) in dual channel. I set my BIOS to optimized defaults but when I ran a test in CPU-Z the new RAM read as PC3-10700H (667MHz) under max bandwidth. It recognizes the XMP and I manually set it to 1600 in the BIOS. It still reads in dual channel. I assumed it was a timing conflict so I removed my existing RAM but no affect to the reading under the SPD tab. I found some information of fourms but am still stumped.

Other Thoughts: I have a gigabyte Q87M-D2H board and Intel i5 4570 processor.

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggsGreat product

Pros: Great product.
Easy install.
Looks great!

Cons: None as of now

Other Thoughts: MOBO automatically set RAM to run at 1333, but easy BIOS setup changes it proper 1600
