1 out of 5 eggsTwo bad kits in a ROW

Pros: NONE and NONE

Cons: First I bought this set of RAM from newegg.ca and I build the computer and everything and I was able to install windows and when I tried to overclock the CPU to 4.5 Ghz, I noticed that prime95 was always failing. Tried like that for a whole day and at a certain point I thought I wasn't doing something properly and decided to run Memtest86+. It was filled with errors, only one defective sticks out of the two.

So I had to RMA my sticks, cost me 21$ to ship it back to Corsair while waiting for a new one.

Around a week later, I received the new kit from them. Installed them and ran memtest86+ right away to detect anything bad. It made two pass easily.

So I decided to test the stability of the system with prime95, it was rock solid stable for 22 hours with 90% of memory used in the test. I even made a aida64 stress test to be sure of my system stability.

And just today, I started noticing weird behavior, I restarted the PC thinking it has something to do with software crashing. Upon reboot, I received BSOD 0x1A whcih means "0x1A = Memory management error. It usually means a bad stick of Ram. Test with Memtest or whatever you prefer. Try raising your Ram voltage"

I tried to run memtest86+ and it was filled of errors I wanted to pull off my hair. I tried upping the memory voltage to 1.6v in the BIOS with no avail. Try reset the BIOS and RAM speed to 1333mhz instead of their 1600Mhz rated speed....

No freakin Luck.

Other Thoughts: Now I have to RMA the kit for a second time, while I also have to RMA it for a third anf forth time. It cost me a whopping 20$ everytime I ship to california (I'm in Canada)

I am VERY' VERY VERY disapointed

5 out of 5 eggsHot stuff~

Pros: Loved the look and feel of these memory sticks. They match perfectly with my Intel DZ77GA-70K motherboard and my Corsair H100i pump set on blue LED. The sticks are actually more of a darker blue than a powder blue shown by the images online.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsGood RAM

Pros: So far it seems stable, fast, and I have not had any issues.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I used this in my first gaming system since 2004. The one issue I have is that it won't run default at 1600 mhz. It is running at 1333 mhz. From what I can tell I need to adjust settings on my motherboard, but I have not looked into it yet so I do not have any answers.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: Works great, second set of RAM I have purchased from Newegg, and certainly the best. Heat sinks keep it nice and cool. Planning on buying a second set to fill the empty RAM ports on my MoBo

Cons: Pretty bulky, within a couple millimeters of my CPU cooler, loses an egg for that, but if you don't have a massive heat sink for your CPU, think of this as a 5 egg

Other Thoughts: Definitely a quality product, especially for the price!

3 out of 5 eggsHalf the Ram Died :<

Pros: I enjoy the Speed and the Looks/Quality of the Ram. It has a cool look for my case, having the fins on it. While being reliable.

Cons: Sad that One of the Sticks went out on me, after a couple months, Thats why Im cutting the eggs down to 3. It started glitching out, and would no longer boot with it in any slot of the computer.

Other Thoughts: I love the ram, I have a set of 8 Gigs and a Set of 4 gigs, Just sad one of the 4 Giggers faulted out

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great

Pros: Fair price, and it works exactly as excepted. Even looks cool to boot. Not much more you can ask for from a RAM purchase. Just install and forget.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: If you're looking for 8 gigs, this is as good a pack as any.

5 out of 5 eggsThe difference in speed is stunning

Pros: I paired these cards with my
EVGA 02G-P4-3658-KR GeForce GTX 650 Ti BOOST and Intel Core i3 and it's absolutely flawless. It's only slow in the beginning (of course) but afterwards I can multitask infinitely.

Cons: n/a

Other Thoughts: Going from 2gb of RAM on my old laptop to 8gb on my new computer build is something to be cherished. Seriously. It's amazing. The wait time is second to none with a SATA drive.

5 out of 5 eggsHey Good Lookin

Pros: Nice Set of Ram, Goes great with my MSI z77a-gd65. It runs smooth at 1600mhz. No problems so far.

Cons: Not any true cons, see below.

Other Thoughts: I cant really call it a con, but I guess the default for these is 1333 when you first post. I had to find my way around my bios to set them to 1600mhz. Other than that, great set of Ram, will buy another set soon for 16 gigs.
