Dual-path Heat eXchange Technology Corsair-exclusive Dual-path Heat eXchange (DHX) technology utilizes both conductive and convective cooling paths to effectively remove heat from the memory circuit board for maximized heat dissipation, resulting in enhanced reliability, stability and performance capability even in the most extremely overclocked memory module.
AirFlow - Extra Cooling for Extreme Overclocking The Airflow fan unit contains two 60mm tachometer-controlled fans to provide impinging airflow to the memory subsystem. With the moderate RPMs required to provide adequate forced air, the Airflow fan is nearly silent. The fan easily clamps onto most motherboards.

Overclocks well, just simply the best of on its class. Cons: I have another 4GB (4 year OLD) set of this RAM but, unfortunately 4 stick wont work on this mobo... Stays on an endless POST cycle. Wont enter the BIOS but the POST screen does comes up. But that's fine Other Thoughts: I have an older build and I'm trying to maxlife it. It sill works well and overclocks like a charm. I like the quality of Cosair so far never had an y problems w/ any of there stuff - Their PSU and SSD Force GT series are great Q6600 @ 3.6Ghz H100 Cooler 8GB of this RAM 660Ti 2GB OC 90GB Force GT SSD (484MB Read/121 Write) Win 7 Ultmnt Antech 900 Case Did you find this review helpful? It has allowed me to overclock my Q9550 to 3.8ghz, Cons: This is my motherboards fault with the 790i limitations, but I wish I could add 2 more :( Other Thoughts: Memtest passed twice with zero errors I am running them at 1800mhz stable for a whole 1ghz increase on my cpu. OC is very easy, fun to play with. Cons: Not self-installing? Other Thoughts: Had some issues on startup with my ASUS Maximus Formula. Fired up my new build and my pc started revving like a racecar. vrooom shutdown vroom....shutdown Got a lil nervous but this RAM and my bios presets just didnt get along. Once it posted, all i needed to do was select the XMP profile and it adjusted my frequency. Also manually keyed in voltage to 1.65. Wasn't a big deal, not enough to deduct an egg. Boy was I wrong, I have seen noticeable improvement in all my games, most notably Battlefield 3. No more massive graphic stutters when the action gets too intense. -Decent price -Noticeable performance increase -No problems at all so far Cons: The only con I can think of is the fan that it came with didnt fit on my 1156 mobo. But I just kind of have it dangling on there and it hasnt fallen off or caused any problems. The fan may be a little loud, but it doesn't really bother me at all Did you find this review helpful? Not sure why others have issues with it making noise but mine is very quiet. Cons: Not getting the full 2000 out of it but I know thats due to my board and cpu. Upgrading those in the next couple weeks so should be able to get the full speed out of them and really see what they can do. Other Thoughts: Overall a great product. Do most need to spend this much for this type of ram? Probably not, especially with all the bargains in the 40-50 dollar range.
