Pros: I bought these on 9-27-09 and they work great. Today 12-18-09 I'm ordering another.
Cons: I should have got them when they were cheaper.. Still worth every penny!!
Other Thoughts: This Ram is was not listed as compatible with the Asus board I bought.. They work just fine.. No complaints at all.
Win 7 Home premium x64 rates the first 4GB at 7.5 Whatever that means !!!

Pros: Solid performer, known brand, the numbers say it all.
Cons: Very specific configurations may be required. Overclocking was spotty.
Other Thoughts: Using a Gigabyte P55M-UD2 motherboard with F3 bios. Default XMP sets the voltage 0.15v too low. If it's not on profile 1 and enhancement is not set to Turbo (default), it may not post.

The memory worked and fired straight up but at 667mhz
I still need to set everything in the mb to get it to run at the advertised speed.I wonder how 1.65v will sit with the Phenom?

Good RAM

Pros: I bought two of these kits for 200 bucks, and have all 4 modules running at 1600MHz in my ASUS P7P55D-E Deluxe. If you want 8Gb RAM, do what I did and buy 2 of these kits rather then one of the 4x2GB kits. They are the same RAM and you will save yourself 60 bucks. I'm actually ashamed of Corsair for trying to trick consumers with this gag.
Cons: They aren't the super high end models but then again I did not have to poop gold bricks in order to afford them.
Other Thoughts: I've had 2 previous sets of corsair RAM (also in ASUS motherboards) and they never let me down, so unless I have a reason to, I wont be switching away from Corsair.
