4 out of 5 eggsgreat ram for the price

Pros: Great ram for the price. Even better because of the OC!

Cons: Please make note to set the voltage in bios to match specs. Had issues where motherboard was undervolting and causing much headace.

1 out of 5 eggsMem Fail

Pros: Uninstalled Easily

Cons: Fails randomly during boot and during OS and Gaming use. System goes dark and a hard reset is required to come back up and running.

Other Thoughts: This is obviously a production batch error that Corsair wasn't will to correct b4 market. Notice the high failure rate in these reviews.

4 out of 5 eggsgood ram

Pros: -overclocked to 1578 w/ out any hick ups
-underclocked to 1260 w/ out problems
-2X passes on memtest86+
-plug and play
-pretty cool looking heat sinks

Cons: -packaging was a little beat up
-got cheaper right after i bought it

Other Thoughts: seems to be of good quality, and potentially saved me from the headache of trouble shooting faulty ram units. Will buy corsair again, but the other xms3 w/ dhx seems to go on sale more often and is cheaper (even the 1600 version).

3 out of 5 eggsNewegg came through

Pros: Quite inexpensive for Corsair RAM.

Cons: Ordered two sets of two sticks. Eventually I found that one of them failed MEMTEST. Returned it to newegg.ca, who have a great return policy.

5 out of 5 eggsNo Problems Since July '09

Pros: Included heat sinks are nice. Easy to install. Runs on Windows 7 64 bit no problem. Purchased this pair in July 2009 and have had no problems since.

Cons: Wish they were cheaper (haha).

Other Thoughts: I used these when I built my current system in July of 2009. I bought the 4GB pair then and have just recently purchased a new 4GB pair to max my system memory to 8GB. These are very high quality memory modules in my opinion. They seem well built, they run great, and I have had no problems with them since I purchase them. If you need DDR3 1333, I'd recommend these in a heartbeat.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: works great no problems at all, both sticks work fine run windows 7 and VM ware fine and all my games beautifully

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: i have had corsair ram and other corsair products before and have friends with corsair products and i have never had any bad experiences with their products and i do not personally know anyone who has so i trust the name, but i was a little concerned when i did some research on the product and i found that people were saying it had an early fail rate and they had problems loading operating systems and things like that, but i decided to purchase the product anyway and im glad i did because both sticks work beautifully for what ever task they are put up against

1 out of 5 eggsBAD

Pros: Worked for 6 months, I guess it's a pro...

Cons: Worked for 6 months AND THEN DIED. Their website seems to be designed to avoid talking to you when you have a warranty issue. You should take a hard look at it, pretend you have a ram module that has gone bad, and try to get an RMA started.

Other Thoughts: This is the first ram module I've ever had go bad on me in 15 years of building my own computers and building them for others. The problem is never the ram, until now. I also had to send the first set I had bought back to Newegg, because it was bad right out of the box. I'm going to buy a different company's ram, so I don't have to deal with this again. Corsair sucks - I'll be avoiding their brand completely, for all products, from now on.

Oh, and if you're a representative from Corsair that wants to try to apologize, don't bother. I don't want to hear it. If your company can't live up to the quality expectations that we derive from it's competition, you need to find a better company to work for.

1 out of 5 eggsTwo bad packages in a row

Pros: None

Cons: I had difficulty loading Windows 7 on my new computer system, so I ran MEMTEST86 wich revealed that one of the two memory modules was faulty. I RMA'd the memory for a replacement (unfortunetly, the two modules came in one package, so I had to send both DIMMs back even though one was fine). I received the replacement DIMMs and ran MEMTEST86 again... one bad DIMM again!! Newegg is giving me a refund with no restocking fee and no shipping fee (I called it in). I am giving up on this process and going with a local retailer for memory.

Other Thoughts: Newegg has a great RMA process.
