I used my Apevia PSU Tester to check the P-4, 3.3, 12, PCI E and 5 volt values were. Each one was dead on. It did not fluctuate ...

5 out of 5 eggsIts a no brainer

Pros: Its well made , lots of connectors. Bolts right in and its so very quiet. In fact the fan (as far as I can tell) hasnt come on yet. 4 12 volt rails and more then enough for the video card I got on here.

Cons: Too easy! Just plug and play all the way.

Other Thoughts: I tried is a not quite fatal way to make this psu run hot and it would'nt do it. The back of the PSU got luke warm and then It cooled right off.

Amb Athalon 5600+ 64
4 gigs
512 gigbyte pci-e video card.

All purchased here and not an issue.
Power to burn.

But as with any purchase.... time will tell. But I feel good about the Egg and Rosewill.

3 out of 5 eggsReplace Capacitors OOB...

Pros: Price, 2yr warranty, Features (Active PFC, Cabling, Etc,) Cooling, Design, Aesthetics.

Cons: Uses Teapo brand capacitors; they are known dogs and are likely responsible for the currently 9% (nearly 1 out of every 10) of reported issues. Large Golf fan is sleeve-bearing, but might be adequate.

Other Thoughts: Don't be lazy. Void your warranty and have someone who is experienced replace the capacitors out-of-box. The PSU *might* last throughout the 2yr warranty period however the capacitors may slowly damage your equipment; (which likely doesn't have a 2yr warranty.) Been there with other brand PSUs.

Be aware that this is an AC power supply meaning, screw-ups are *NOT* in the least, tolerable. Screw up and you'll end up with a fire hazard. So replacing caps for this, is not a DIY project. Have someone experienced perform the job.

Parts are available vis DigiKey.Com. Original parts are as follows...
(all Teapo brand 105C A3 series unless stated otherwise)
(1) 220µF 400v 85C H4.5cm D2.5cm LS1.0
(2) 47 50 1.5 0.5 0.3
(5) 220 10 2.0 1.0 0.5
(1) 1000 10 2.0 0.8 0.4
(2) 470 16 1.5 0.8 0.3
(1) 3300 16 3.3 1.0 ?.?
(1) 220 16 2.6 1.0 0.5
You'll generally only need to replace the mid-range caps. The large 220 and small 47 µF may be left alone. (#)=(Qty)

1 out of 5 eggsFailed after 5 months

Pros: Relatively inexpensive. Runs quiet.

Cons: Failed after 5 months of light usage (averaged less than 4 hours per day). Computer was connected to a UPS and kept in a reasonable environment (indoor study, 70-75F ambient room temperature, decent case ventilation, low dust).

Other Thoughts: This was not a heavily loaded system by any stretch. To make sure it wasn't load related, I hooked up a Kill-a-watt after replacing the power supply, and the input load into the system would stay in the 120W-150W range (varied under different system load conditions).

5 out of 5 eggsgreen power supply

Pros: Very efficient. runs very quiet too. Voltages right where they should be. doesn't sound like it straining, ever.

Would highly recommend or buy again.

Cons: A little pricier than some, but you get what you pay for.

Other Thoughts: Newegg rules!

5 out of 5 eggsGREAT!

Pros: Silent, high efficiency, lots of connectors. This thing rocks. It replaced a fan-less power supply and it's basically as silent.

Cons: I didn't get it sooner... I stink on ice.

Other Thoughts: Newegg is the best store on the web - period.

5 out of 5 eggsA lot of PS for the money

Pros: It's quiet, plenty of SATA connectors. cables are long enough. Bag of screws included along with a bag of tie-wraps for cable control

Cons: none yet

Other Thoughts: The Rosewill packaging was very protective. Dbl walled cardboard box, bubble wrap bag, cellophane wrapping.
This PS will be more than enough for the average non-gamer PC

5 out of 5 eggsRosewill Green 430w

Pros: Powers my system. Not louder than the one it replaced. Rosewill is a good brand for p/s units in my experience.

Cons: Limited PCI express power. Of course, this isn't for a power hungry system, so not really a con, but it's something to be aware of.
"Green" component's packaging contained a lot of cellophane and plastic- plus Newegg's box full of styrofoam peanuts was a little ironic I guess.

Other Thoughts: I didn't take any measurements of sound or power usage, I guess I bought it on good faith that it would be more efficient than my old power supply (a pull from a downed Dell 8400).
Also, there are a lot of sata & 4pin molex cables, make sure you have a place to put them all if you don't need 'em.

5 out of 5 eggsNice PS

Pros: 80+, price, sata connectors. Using this in home server that only draws just over 50W. Wanted a high efficient PS with a lower wattage but couldn't find one in the price range I got this for. It's quite and has lots of sata connectors for adding HD's in the server.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Was packaged in a double thick cardboard box in a bubblewrap bag, great protection, great product.

5 out of 5 eggsImpressive

Pros: Impressive quality for the price range. The build quality seems good. The finish is smooth and nice. Quad 12V Rails is pretty crazy for this price.

What really wowed me was the 120mm "Silent Golf Fan." I honestly did not know what I was supposed to expect but I was very happy with it. The fans' blades are pitted like the surface of a Golf ball, which I presume allows the fan to push a little more air volume at lower speeds. This PSU is very quiet.

Rosewill generally makes nice power supply's. I probably buy PSU's from Rosewill more than anyone else. They have a good warranty and good service system. Additionally, they always seem to beat out other companies when searching by price per wattage.

Cons: Not real cons but:

Not modular. 430W won't cut it for power hungry configurations. Make sure you crunch the numbers on a power supply calculator, and always be conservative in your estimations.
