3 out of 5 eggspower supplies blew up.

Pros: in my experience, about a years worth of life span. great power supply none the less. good on energy cost as well.

Cons: only worked for about a year. then it blew up on me. plugged it in after moving around my home and turned it on and heard a loud pop and smoke. im very worried about my build.

Other Thoughts: did a lot of research on this and didnt think this would happen with this power supply.

5 out of 5 eggs3 years in and I still love this PSU

Pros: initially in a fancy Silverstone HTPC case and now serving as the PS in a mid-tower build; adapters and cable webbing still looks like new and the voltages are all still as there were when it was new.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Power Supply--Would Recommend

Pros: Purchased in mid-2013 to upgrade from a 650W Diablotek PSU. This power supply has handled my first overclocked rig (FX-4100 and HD 7850) to my new setup (FX-6300 and R9 270) and has not once hiccuped, scared me, or otherwise given me any reason to give a negative rating. The fan is very quiet. Cable sleeving is well done and does not come loose. Voltages are spot on, as read from the BIOS (GA-990FX-UD3).

Cons: Relatively expensive, but price is justified by 80+GOLD certification and build quality.

Other Thoughts: It should be noted that the OEM that produces these for Rosewill, Super Flower, which produces server power supplies, has an excellent track record in regards to power supply quality and longevity.

4 out of 5 eggsFirst Impressions

Pros: 80 plus gold
Purchased on discount
7 year limited warranty
Saw some good reviews during my research.

Cons: Only 650 watt, maybe I should have gone for the 750 watt version

Other Thoughts: Remember it has non-modular cables. Choose a case with good cable management options. Particularly in my case, choose one with good spacing behind the motherboard tray.

Purchased the supply for my first build. It's been running for about 4 months now and I'm happy with it. I placed my confidence in Rosewill's 7-year warranty. Thought it'd be good enough to handle some low-end crossfire - sli in the future, it can power 2 R9 270's at least, haven't tested under load though since Xfire didn't seem to work. Oh well...

5 out of 5 eggsStill working great

Pros: - Energy efficient
- Powers my gaming machine with plenty of energy to spare

Cons: - Probably insufficient wattage for highly intense gaming
- Lack of modular plugs a con for some

Other Thoughts: A great value that suits my uses perfectly. Lack of modularity doesn't bother me, as it is easy enough to bundle cables and put them out of the way.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat for 2 years then died. Awesome Rosewill support

Pros: Worked flawlessly for 2 years. Excellent customer support

Cons: Died without warning.

Other Thoughts: I needed a replacement supply immediately, so I ordered a different one from NewEgg and installed it. Called for RMA; was issued a return label (so I don't have to pay shipping) and I was offered a choice of an exact replacement or (since I had just bought a new supply from NewEgg) store credit for the exact price I paid for the original supply. 5 Eggs for customer support!

5 out of 5 eggsStill working properly after over a year of daily use.

Pros: Price to Watt ratio. I am only running a single video card and multiple SSDs, 1 DVD-burner and of course the motherboard with a 3770K i7 and 32GB RAM. PSU handles this load easily.

Cons: If you have 2 or more high end video cards you should probably get a better higher watt PSU.

All Active PFC power supplies like this one, should have sine wave compatible backups. If you have a cheaper battery back-ups it may fail to keep PSU and thus computer working during a power outage. I have a Cyber Power CP1000PFCLCD and I haven't had any issues with it so far.

Other Thoughts: PSU companies like Rosewill, Seasonic, Thermaltake, Corsair, etc. should do a better job of recommending proper Backup units that work with their Power Supplies. It would be nice if APC, Cyperpower, Tripp-lite, etc. Teamed up with or made their own branded PSUs for computers to help reduce incompatible combos.

1 out of 5 eggsNot reliable

Pros: None

Cons: Came defective like most of Rosewill's other products. Unreliable company.

Other Thoughts: Corsair or EVGA are much better for PSU
