5 out of 5 eggsDecent card, just make it worth the upgrade

Pros: The card itself is pretty powerful (~60 fps in all the games I play with high/ultra settings) and stays cool (Never goes over 50C) and quiet. I got mine at a while back from a deal Newegg had and got the card at $194 before MIR. Plus got it bundled with Far Cry 3 and Medal of Honor so there is a LOT of value here.

Cons: I upgraded from a GTX550Ti and I initally though there was going to be a major increase in performance. Turns out not really. It got better as I tuned the driver settings on a per game basis, but it shouldn't have to be that much work. It definitely wasn't like that with my nVidia card.

Other Thoughts: Although, I know there's a lot more performance you can get out of this card through OCing it, I figured the base performance would be worth a $200 upgrade from my old card. But don't get me wrong, this is still a very good card!

4 out of 5 eggsGood but not great

Pros: Great price for it 184$ after MIR. Product is solid, no noticeable defects or build issues. Is a solid card and plays the games I want mostly at ultra but some on High( I'll explain more on this). Good so far in regards to drivers and doesn't really have any unexpected issues. Lots of Ocing potential for those interested, not to difficult to do so either but recommend going with something other than AMD Vision center. As a whole the card is solid and a good investment if you just wanted to update and drop power from older 5xxx and 6xxx cards while increasing performance some.

Cons: Now to the con's relating to the settings. I was expecting better playability for some games. For example Natural Selection 2 on all high sometimes dips as low as 30FPS. I wasn't really expecting that given the card and given the game. War of the Roses also can dip into the low 30's on big battlefield intensive fights. It averages 40FPS which is fine for me (not chasing 60FPS in all games you'll likely never notice) but it's alittle dissapointing that even an OC'd edition of this can struggle to keep 30FPS. Makes me wonder how the stock editions run and play. I'll probably push the card some and in reality my choice of processor (FX-8150) is probably part of this. Although I don't agree with the amount of negative feedback it's received, I do wish I had watied for the FX-8350.

Other Thoughts: 8xxx series cards will be out supposidly in a few months so for someone not needing to upgrade or not building a PC now you may want to wait and see what happens. Especially the close price now for the 7870 and 7850's I'd recommend going the 7870 for most or simply waiting.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Card - Rebate, Maybe not?

Pros: Great card, very fast

Cons: Having some problems resuming from rest but Cntl, Alt, Del brings the screen back up Okay.

Rebate is another story since the PowerColor website returns nothing but "data error" when trying to register.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card!

Pros: So far, it's been a great card. Maxes out the WEI score, and plays Starcraft 2 at Ultra settings. I've managed to fit this into a Silverstone SG05BB-450 (mini-ITX w/450watt SFX power supply), and I haven't had any problems with it. The single fan does spin a bit more (39% to keep it at a cool 25 C at idle), but it is still fairly quiet.

Cons: None; however, you may want to consider the standard version if you have a mini-ITX case/HTPC case because the card's fan might be the loudest component of your whole system

Other Thoughts: In retrospect, I think I should have gotten the regular-clocked version instead of the PCS+ overclocked version. Because it's overclocked from the factory to 1000MHz, the fan spins a bit more just to ensure it doesn't overheat. I believe I can underclock it which will likely help the fan speed, but I probably should have just purchased the standard one from the beginning & saved a few bucks.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Card

Pros: Works with Ubuntu 12.04 in a dual monitor setup using the proprietary driver and Catalyst.

Cons: The open source driver is usable but performs poorly.

5 out of 5 eggsfast!!

Pros: Very fast card! I have no issues with it, for those of you getting bad pixels on your screen! Please make sure not to touch the interface. If your going to overclock, please make sure not to go crazy on it. This can also cause, screen flicking!!

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Great product, would like to see model's like this on the hd 7770. I have another build coming up.

5 out of 5 eggsWho needs more than this?

Pros: Runs extremely quiet and cool. Touching the heatpipes literally warms the GPU up, it only gets warm under load and even then it's not even 60 degrees.

As for the performance, it is ridiculously good considering the price. It blows away 560 I have been using at work for benchmarks, (about 50-80% better FPS in heaven benchmark at max) and for only 30 or so dollars more.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Phenom ii x4 965 BE @3.4
8gb Corsair Vengeance @ 1600
This card :)

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: So far, she's treated me well. Haven't attempted OC'ing beyond the factory and I'm happy with what's came right out of the box.Playing GW2, Skyrim and MoH:Wf @1080p and Medium/High settings with great frame rates.

Cons: None, that I can think of.

5 out of 5 eggsSpeedy!

Pros: Fast, runs borderlands 2 at a steady 62 FPS , sometimes dipping to the low 40's. This is at a relatively low resolution of 1300x768 on a 32" tv. Battlefield is the same, and looks awesome

Cons: none that I can tell, I hope this card will be a good one for some time. I cant tell if its loud or not, its being drown out by 6 120mm fans and a hyper 212 cooler

Other Thoughts: Great card for the money!
