1 out of 5 eggsDon't buy Foxcon Motherboards

Pros: I picked up this motherboard for price and the reviews that it rec'd. I have had a great run with the motherboard until recently. easy jumpers and setup. I like that a lot.

Cons: I just got a new GTX 550 Ti. I flashed my BIOS to the latest update revision. After the flash, i had problems with CMOS errors and computer not booting. Once I got that fix, I installed the GTX550 Ti video card. Computer will not boot after I installed the card. Take the card out and put my old one back in and everything works fine. I tried again same thing, and again, and again. I take the GTX 550 to my media pc (ASUS motherboard) and it works fine. first boot right up in to windows and fthe next 15 boots went fine.

Other Thoughts: If you have this motherboard you will struggle to fine help, BIOS updates. Upgrading your video card will not happen. I guess if you have a GTX 400 series this motherboard will work for you. Anything above that you are out of luck. So at this point Foxconn, i would like to thank you for making a motherboard I can't upgrade, motherboard i can't grow with me. Shame on you!! I will not be buying anymore motherboards form you.

1 out of 5 eggsFoxGarbage

Pros: My computer has been able to turn on since I've had this board.

Cons: This company is terrible. Their website barely functions, and their utilities are still outdated (no windows 7). I tried using *THEIR* update utility today to update my BIOS (in hopes of some issues being resolved, and the ability to overclock) but no luck. My mobo is bricked now, and they basically did it. It was their utility. Unbelievable. I tried removing the battery etc., and nothing. I didn't dare try overclocking it, given how unstabl it was from day 1, but someday I would like to overclock - this is why I'm sticking with ASUS From now on, and you all should do the same. I've heard success stories about OC'ing with this board, but I think Foxconn wrote the stories. I will never buy anything from foxconn again - unless they want to replace my bricked board (so I can get back to my job, school, and gaming) with an updated, FUNCTIONING board, I will continue to spread this message everywhere that I can. 0/5 eggs. Do yourself a favor, reader, and avoid FC like the plague

4 out of 5 eggsGood but not great

Pros: Supports overclocking quite easily if you know what you are doing. Crossfire ready... not that I'm using it yet though.

Cons: I cannot find updated drivers/utilities/BIOS for Windows 7 (-1 egg). The support website doesn't respond 3/4 of the time (almost another -1 egg).

Other Thoughts: If I had to build over again I would've went with another board. Foxconn support for the product is sorely lacking. I will keep using this one till I build a new system down the line, unless it dies...

3 out of 5 eggsis it just my luck?

Pros: Very nice design all over with the red and black theme, some onboard controll for oc. I suppose design + function + price, make this 1 of the best mid-range board around.

Cons: Lets point out the first part of bad part of design, the sata port, woulda been better if place by the edge facing out like most board are nowaday, look nicer with cable management, better yet remove the IDE port. Lack sata 3.0 and and anothering thing, can't think of it atm lolz. Onto the functionability. I RMA my first Flaming Blade due to a defected 3/4 pin fan connector on the board. Now with my second board, I've gotten another problem, this time its visual, Some time when I turn on the comp, It wouldn't recognize my graphic card, thus everything is black, First I though it may be my graphic card or the power supply, but after 3 week of test, I figure its it 80% the board, and 20% the power supply(20%?...modular 800w ovp, uvp, opp, etc.)

Other Thoughts: I would so trade in for a evga or gigabyte at of this moment, but perhaps its just my luck. The design was great, the tweeking was good, nice bios, and the price is just right. However if you do get this board, I highliy suggest you test all the port, and plug, make sure everything work! and good luck with your board.............. Oh, and 1 of my 2 onboard USB header broke, not like imma just both, but just pointing out.

4 out of 5 eggsTo the guy below...

Pros: Read Other Thoughts

Cons: Read Other Thoughts

Other Thoughts: This is for Dragonkiller who says his techexprt level is 4 out of 5 yet doesn't know USB and USB header pinouts are a STANDARD and the pinout for these USB headers are the SAME as ANY OTHER MOTHERBOARD sold here! He should have no issues figuring out the pinouts for his case front panel USB port wiring. There is no difference between "seperate wire" front USB ports and "single plug header type" or whatever he siad. That's a difference in his case. They are all the same on a motherboard!

4 out of 5 eggssweet board

Pros: this board is sweet! the onboard power and reset button is nice and the error readout is nice

Cons: not really a con but the front usb ports on the board are for the modular plugs not the separate wires so i have lost the use of my front usb ports

Other Thoughts: would be nice to get my front usb ports back but there are no diagrams to tell you how to plug in the individual wires so its imposable for me to do it

5 out of 5 eggsWOAH MAMA

Pros: The error display is very helpful when hooking it up to the computer. The BIOS is incredibly nice and allows for a lot of customization and has several security features which are very convenient. Works very well with i7 processors.

Cons: It would be nicer if there were 4 rather than 3 memory slots but 3 is quite adequate.

5 out of 5 eggsFlamingBlade

Pros: Price.Overclocks.Looks.New G21 Bios runs nvidia 400 series graphics cards!!!and also includes RAID for flamingbBlade GTI

Cons: Bought GTX 460 1GB superclocked video card and could only
run 2 stix of memory.4E code on debug.( But after flashing bios with G21 it works great)All 3 stix of RAM are installed and

5 out of 5 eggsAmending preivous review below

Pros: I'm amending my review below. All the most recent bios's work including the beta bios's from quantum force. You just need to go into the bios and load optimized defaults then reboot and your problem will be fixed and you can do whatever you like as far as chainging things in the bios and having windows boot!

Cons: Having to go into bios to load optimized defaults after updating beyond p06.
