5 out of 5 eggsNice features for the price.

Pros: Good board for the price. Haven had a problem at all with this board. I would by AsRock again. this would be my first motherboard from them. Im running an i7 2700k with 8gigs of ddr 1600 and a gtx770 from gigabyte. I even got a gt 640 running phisx. Running all this on a lepa g750 with absolutely no problems. I would buy AsRock again. Highly recommended.

Cons: After reading the reviews. I ended up getting the extended warranty. Just to be safe.

4 out of 5 eggs1 year review

Pros: the board was awsome while it ran,

Cons: after a year my board decided to die, not sure what hit it to cause it but i dont think it was the boards fault or the manufactures. I hate having a board die early but stuff happens.

Other Thoughts: just because my board died after a year doesnt mean its a bad board.,, the features this board offers is amazing.. i still to this day will suggest this board to other people!

1 out of 5 eggsWon't boot

Pros: Arrived in 2 days from Newegg... yay Newegg. Relatively good documentation from a Chinese Mfr.

Cons: Keeps power cycling when memory is inserted. I have two sets of RAM, GSkill F2-1288CL9D-8GBRL (4gb) and Gskill F3-10666CL9D-16GBXL (8gb). I tried every possibility of RAM combination but the machined turns on, then turns off again. Re-seated CPU and tried again, removed video card. Posts fine w/ no memory, but as soon as memory goes in it power cycles.

There is also nothing on the board to screw the CPU fan down to, just 4 LGA775 and 4 LGA1155 holes. My case doesn't have a place for standoffs underneath (it's cut away) so I had to use standoffs as nuts on the backside of the board. There was no hardware included with the board.

Other Thoughts: I had a Dell XPS 8500 and the mobo flaked out. It would run fine for a week then wouldn't turn on. Finally moved to guts to a new case and all was good for a week or so then same thing happened again so I gave up on the dell mobo and ordered this one. Now I can hopefully RMA to Newegg, but I'm bummed I've burned so much time and cash. Rebuilding a PC for the 3rd time in a month isn't my idea of a good time.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear ASRock Customer

The power cycling related to memory and its controller.

1 out of 5 eggsNever Again

Pros: NONE

Cons: Both boards had faulty parts

Other Thoughts: I will never buy an ASRock board again. The first one we received had two defective RAM slots and a bent CPU socket pin. We ordered another figuring it was a mistake and likely wouldn't happen again, and behold the second one had a broken Ethernet port. It's obvious these boards are not tested at all. I am returning both and getting a board that is actually worth spending money on.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear ASRock Customer

Sorry to hear that both mainboard having issue with CPU contact pins and Ethernet port.
For the CPU socket pins, mainboards are fully tested to assure the quality. In addition, CPU socket has been covered with protection CAP to avoid damage the pins.

For the Ethernet issue, please clear the CMOS.
Check the LED lights are on once plug the LAN cable (assure router and modem are working).

1 out of 5 eggsASROCK Is an awful company

Pros: Good price Bad company

This motherboard is great. But only when it's not short circuiting.
The very first time i turned my PC on the board crashed and I couldn't get the video to come on screen unless i put one Ram card in.
I returned it to new egg but they couldn't do anything for me so i contacted ASROCK and they where very rude and could not care less. And i never recieved and email for help.
After a month of dealing with this I wound up buying a new board instead of waiting more. Now it's not worth the trouble of refunding my new board and returning the old board to ASROCK and be yet again, without a PC.

Cons: Horrible customer service
Terrible return/refund policy
Extraordinary wasting of my time

Other Thoughts: Be ready to get what you pay for

Manufacturer Response:

Dear ASRock Customer

2 out of 5 eggsNice while it lasted

Pros: No issues while it worked.
Easy to install and configure.
Cheaper than the others.

Cons: Will not display anything after less than three months of use. I contacted ASRock and they have not replied yet. I've switched out CPUs, PSUs, video cards, monitors, cables, no result.

Other Thoughts: I will not buy ASRock products again.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear ASRock Customer

Remove all components from mainboard
Clear the CMOS.
Test with single memory module.

1 out of 5 eggsNot worth the money saved

Pros: -Inexpensive, overclocks decently
-UEFI
-Decent feature set for the price range (but not outside that which the competition offers)
-Decent size and layout

Cons: -Died in around 6 months
-RMA process is lengthy and there is NO cross-shipping
-Had a strange bug from factory (see other thoughts)

Other Thoughts: I've built a number of PCs, and similarly-priced MSI boards are more reliable. MSI also allows cross-shipping for their motherboard RMAs.

From the factory, this motherboard would NOT properly shut down or enter Sleep mode, it would simply hang until manually powered down. I tried every re-configuration of the OS (Win 7) power settings and BIOS settings, factory default settings, and clearing the CMOS jumper to no avail. Finally, I pulled the CMOS battery and jumper, and that finally fixed the issue.

TL;DR: There's better options out there for this price range.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear ASRock Customer

Sorry to hear that the mainboard has malfunctioned after 6 months.
We will be more than happy to assist you to replace the mainboard.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Overall!

Pros: Way under priced, this mobo has stood the test of time, im now in my 2 year owning it and it has been nothing but awesome, the "bios," which is a UEFI setup with mouse integration and all the goodies and can update over the net if i had a wired connection

Works well under linux as well so far, im using Arch Linux and testing Antergos, Ubuntu runs fine

Cons: Windows has issues installing all the little drivers for it so it says in device manager, but dont worry it hasnt gotten in my way at all, ASRock it too legit, but we all should be using Linux anyways right? ;)

Other Thoughts: buy this mobo.
