5 out of 5 eggsDear Asus

Pros: It works after over 2 years of being my main computer. It has NEVER had any issues.

If your still looking at Motherboards for a 1156 CPU, or have someone who's looking to sell one to you, this is highly recommended by me.

Cons: After 2 years, I was hoping it would transform into a little robot or something with a big reveal. That's the only disappointing thing thus far.

Other Thoughts: Highly recommend anything from Asus at this point.

Seriously, nothing they have sent me has packed it in, and since i'm a brand-driven fellow, they can expect to see me if all of their stuff works this well.

1 out of 5 eggsTerrible Asus Tech Support

Pros: Worked well for a while...

Cons: Have to deal with inept Asus customer service if you have a problem.

Other Thoughts: Board worked great for a while. Then it wouldn't boot, or even post. RMA'ed the board to Asus. They claimed the board was damaged because of some trace residual on the back of the board from the foam tape off the back bracket of a C***air H50 cooler. Tried to talk to a supervisor and explain, after getting 2 weeks worth of "we'll call you back", they said they couldn't help. Asus gave me the POOREST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED! I will never buy an Asus product again. (Beware C***air H50 users, although it's a great product... it voids your warranty)

4 out of 5 eggsGood value

Pros: This has some nice options, and recognized all of my hardware right away.

Cons: The memory slots are too close to the CPU, and I can only fit 3 modules in. Fortunately, I anticipated this before purchasing and only bought 3x2GB.

Other Thoughts: I might have better luck with some lower profile memory and a smaller CPU cooler, but I'm happy with 6GB for now.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Board

Pros: With plenty of slots and connectors this board is awesome if you are thinking about future additions. The ram slots are a bit close to the first PCIe slot so make sure you install the ram before graphics cards.

Cons: None so far!

Other Thoughts: CPU: Core i5 750
MB: ASUS P7P55D EVO
RAM: 4GB G.Skill Ripjaws
VIDEO: nVidia Geforce 9800 GTX+
HD: 650GB WD Cavier Black
CASE: Antec Three Hundred Illusion

5 out of 5 eggsSolid Mobo

Pros: Good solid design, great number of Sata and express ports, good design and great use of intelligent hardware. This was my first build and of course I don't have a surgeons fingers. As such it was great that the board could take a little bit of abuse as well.

Cons: Some of the sata ports are a bit awkwardly placed which usually involves having to do a 180 degree rotation of the cable between the board and the sata device. Fan headers are a bit awkward as well, could maybe use one or two more, just for ease of accessibility and better cable management. Also, the way this board orients, it's definately better to have a case where your power supply is on the top of the case, if it's on the bottom, you may run into some issues with cable management as both power ports are towards the top of the board.

Other Thoughts: I've read from other posters that memory can be a bit finiky on this board. All I can say to this point is read the manual twice, build once. The memory I used was a very small upgrade from the one listed in the manual (the manual could use to be updated from 2009) but with the proper memory, it booted just fine. I used the Patriot sector 7 6gb 1600mhz memory with an 875K I7. Runs like a charm. The utilities also work well with windows 7. We'll see how it keeps trucking as I get the burn in time over and done with, but thus far, no complaints.

5 out of 5 eggsworks great

Pros: This motherboard works great so far. It has plenty of slots for expansion should you choose to do so down the road and there are plenty of USB ports and eSATA.

Cons: My biggest con with this thing was actually mostly my fault. For 3 or 4 days I had my new build set up and I kept receiving the RED LED MemOK light when I tried to boot up. Consequently it would not POST. I switched the mem around and still nothing. After ordering more mem and still nothing, thinking it could be bad memory I finally figured I had a DOA mobo. Randomly I tried one more time to get it to POST by taking the mem out and reinserting it only this time with way more force than I had before. SUCCESS! It turns out that since the memory slots only have one set of clasps on the "top" end it requires more force than I was used to in properly installing the memory. I felt like an idiot but very relieved when I got it to run.

Other Thoughts: Aside from the memory issue this motherboard runs fantastic so far. All I can say to people that may have problems with this board is check check check because the problem could very well be a user error.

5 out of 5 eggsDecent Board

Pros: Easy installation
Manual with setting details
Kit included

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: The ASUS Turbo application is very misleading and made the Windows 7 Professional 64 bit crushed.
If you could, don't use this tool to overclock CPU/MEM.

2 out of 5 eggsGreat Value if it works

Pros: Great feature set. LOVED having the old mouse and keyboard ports as my old wireless set still works fine. More connections than most users will ever need. Was able to OC my i-5 760 immediately up to 3.6 and with XMP, got G. Skill Ripjaws at PC1600. Too easy.

Cons: DIMM A1 slot DOA. B2 and B1 would work together, but that defeats the purpose of having two channels. Having to RMA at my cost. Had to reseat the CPU 3 times before the dreaded CPU LED would go off.

Other Thoughts: I read all the reviews and took a gamble on getting one without a defect which these seem very prone to. I lost the bet.

This really is a good motherboard loaded with features for the price. Unfortunately I just ate up half my rebate with RMA shipping cost.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat motherboard, great features, great price!

Pros: Amazing price for the features,
3 PCI-e 2.0 x16 @ x8/x8/x4 (two great for SLI, the last good for PhysX)
ASUS has great overclocking BIOS, just make sure to update to the latest one,
Actually looks really cool with a blue themed case (like mine)

Cons: Doesn't allow all 3 PCI-e to run at x16, although this is an Intel based limitation for the LGA1156 platform, so this cannot be blamed on the motherboard.

Other Thoughts: Great board, great price, great features, great looks. Best LGA1156 motherboard for the price. Have always loved ASUS and they make me glad to return to them every single time, you won't be disappointed!

1 out of 5 eggsASUS P7P55D EVO

Pros: I don't have anything to say about pros. I pickup diff. model of ASUS.

Cons: I bought this motherboard and installed other components together. I then could not turn on the system. I swapped another power supply and then case. It turned bad motherboard. Took me for awhile to figure out. New run into motherboard issue with Asus, especially new one orders from Newegg.
