2 out of 5 eggsBought two, one was a killer

Pros: -Cheap
-No sharp edges
-OK airflow if using low power parts

Cons: -Power supply failed and killed an SSD

Other Thoughts: I bought two of these cases w/ PSU and built two identical home theatre PC's with all the exact same components.

After a year, one started to exhibit weird behavior such as turning on after it's been turned off. I also experienced a few random crashes with it.

One day, I go to turn it on and my SSD has failed and isn't recongnized by any computer. I put a new SSD in the computer, and I can't finish installing Windows without the install crashing, claiming it couldn't see the SSD.

I verified the SSD worked fine in two other PC's, and attempted to try a new power supply in the computer. WIth a new power supply, it was completly stable and I was able to install Windows and run Prime 95.

It seems like the included Rosewill PSU killed my SSD and caused system instability. I'm glad I got it out before I killed further components!

4 out of 5 eggsGood Value

Pros: Well made case, compact for smaller basic systems, enough power for most applications (Hard Drive, DVD Burner etc), stylish. Easy to install components.

Cons: Documentation is basic, and 'faded' on small paper sheets, but plugs were clearly marked anyway. Drive door was not attached, was NOT broken, just not installed. Found the door's spring and was able to install. Guess the production line was crimped for time.

2 out of 5 eggsDust issue in horizontal position

Pros: Fairly sturdy
Everything fits

Cons: Weak/loud fans
Huge openings for dust to be pulled in
Bulky for matx
My power supply will not put out the rated 300 watts
Cables really get in the way of ventilation

Other Thoughts: In the horizontal position, you can see the huge 6" x 6" square vent on the side...well, that sits right above the cpu cooler, and is going to pull in a huge amount of dust right onto the motherboard. That opening does not need to be so large.

The rear slot above the motherboard is also wide open, maybe mine didn't come with a block off plate?

Dust will be a huge enemy with this case.

5 out of 5 eggsYou get what you pay for

Pros: Power supply works, spacious enough for my needs. Panels can be removed easily enough. Feels solid.

Cons: No frills. Not the most attractive case. No real cable management.

Other Thoughts: I use this as an HTPC in my children's playroom. I have it laying down flat and turned to the side. The only side that shows is a flat black panel which could pass for a VCR. It has survived several direct blows from flying toys without incident.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid, pretty and easy to manuever

Pros: High value, simple and functional.

Cons: 3.5 slot will not accommodate many multi-card readers unless they can mount from the bottom. The tray in the case will not allow side mounted screws. The manufacturer (Rosewill) says they do not sell a card reader that will work in this machine.

4 out of 5 eggsOne flaw

Pros: Beautiful case, solidly built, great value. Easy to configure.

Cons: The manufacturer (Rosewill) does not manufacture an internal multi-card reader that can mount in the chassis. A card reader must have mounting holes on the bottom to fit this case. Bummer.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome case for the $

Pros: Great build quality (only exception are the plastic panels on the front over the drives)

Easy to work in
Amazing value (nice case + psu for ~$50? Yes please! )

Cons: Only complaint is the slightly cheesy plastic panels on the front

Other Thoughts: used it for my htpc build. Buy one!

5 out of 5 eggsVery good design

Pros: It is the second one I bought. I should say it has the best cooling among slim m-ATX cases. Especially good for 3.5" hard drive.

Cons: None so far. Someone say the case fan is noisy but it depends on your motherboard. One of my MB gives higher voltage than the other. So I can tell the difference. Anyway you could lower the fan speed in many ways.

4 out of 5 eggsnice slim tower

Pros: solid box, excellent for use as a network print server, network share drive, always on for those quick internet needs ... running Seti@home 24/7 ...

Cons: had some trouble finding a replacement power supply (been running 24/7 since 2009 and just started random system shutdowns)

Other Thoughts: I sent an email this morning to Rosewill and they sent me the model number this afternoon, speaks volumes to their customer service (for my experience), which brought me to newegg for the OEM power supply ...

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182207 ...

I grabbed 2 just in case they go out of stock in the next few years.
