Thought it was too good to be true 12/8/2016 4:29:04 PM

Pros: I like everything about the power supply itself. Quiet and well built.

Cons: Having cables with different lengths would be nice. Buy two!

Overall Review: This would have had 5 stars if it were not for now learning what your warranty truly includes.

First, no advance replacement. I didn't realize I was supposed to purchase two of these so I would be able to keep my rig running while it can take them up to 2 WEEKS to get another power supply! Are you kidding me?

Second, the RMA states they only pay for economy shipping back... wow. On top of myself paying for the return.

Maybe it was different when OCZ actually operated the company, but with that policy and attitude you will not see myself purchasing a PSU from Firepower Technologies (a division of PC Power and Cooling).

Was great tell it broke 5/6/2016 9:43:03 PM

Pros: Worked awseome for 3 1/2 years tell it broke is has a 5 year warranty

Cons: Now that it is broken the company sold out even though the new company has bought the warranty's too. they have not replaced it or returned my emails... i would not purchase this product just based off of that.

Big boom! 11/25/2015 6:23:42 PM

Pros: Modular

Cons: Totally unreliable. I never had this PSU in any high power rig. Originally bought it in 2012 for low power HTPC: passive nVidia GeForce, low TDP CPU passively cooled etc. Last year I built a NAS: 4 HDs, 20W Atom CPU, 32GB RAM, RAID card. Absolutely nothing demanding. And today after BIG BOOM! I found a piece of ferrite under PSU and the NAS is dead (the data loss still to be determined). Piece of junk.

Overall Review: Don't touch it with a 50ft pole and run away. Oh, and I am ineligible for return. Makes me wonder how I can get a refund, because I don't want another OCZ PSU.

Power Supply Died and company diapeared 7/24/2014 4:42:52 PM

Pros: Looks good; Greate cables,

Cons: No longer works; not clear where the warranty service is.

Overall Review: I bought this power supply 12/2011. It came with a 5 years warranty. The power supply died a few months ago. Unfortunately, I do not seem to be able to replace it because the warranty site (www.ocztechnology.com/support/ticket.html) seems to no longer exist. In its place appears ocz.com, which no longer lists power supplies as one of their products..

Seeing that Newegg is still selling the product, I wonder who is now providing warranty service for this product.

Awesome power supply 6/16/2014 12:31:29 PM

Pros: This is the best PSU I have owned. It has worked flawlessly for 2 years now. At one point it got wet while I was moving but after cleaning it with some Iso. alcohol and letting it dry out it still works great. The fully modular design makes cable management easy and all the cables are more than long enough even for a very large tower.

Cons: The fan in it is a bit on the loud side but nothing that should be worried about.

Overall Review: My build is an AMD FX 8150 on an ASUS Crosshair Formula V overclocked to 4.5GHZ. Two Radoen HD 7970 gpus in crossfire. Water cooled running 3 pumps and 7 fans. Im not sure how much power my machine is drawing but this PSU can handle it.
