Pros: This product is a well constructed device, and a great accessory "tool" for the "work bench" in the bedroom. Durable and easy to keep clean.

Cons: This was the second one that I have bought in the past two years for two different girlfriends. Interestingly,.... shortly after I gave them to the girls, both the massager AND the ladies disappeared. They don't even call me anymore :o(

Overall Review: While it is a great product at a great price, I won't be buying them as gifts anymore.

Pros: Note: This IS a real Hitachi despite what others may have reported here - see "Other thoughts" On with the review... Now that I have one of these little devices I can't imagine how I ever lived without one before. Since there are no reviews so far attesting to the massaging capability of this updated HV260 wand (though there is occasional mention of such for the HV250r if you look it up) I will speak to that end. The thing is fantastic. I train quite hard and often have sore, tight muscles and this HV260 has been tremendously helpful in relaxing/loosening up my muscles between sessions. It seems to help my recovery time but on top of that it's very nice to get some relief now so I'm not constantly sore and it works basically everywhere. It really does a good job at what it's designed to do especially if you're relieving soreness from constant exercise. The two massage speeds (5000 rpm and 6000 rpm) are really perfect for this purpose, and I can see why they are so far apart. (the 5k and 6k are actually very far apart in effect... however see cons) Oh yeah, it also gets about 10 stars for what everyone else is reviewing it for. But since everyone else is covering this part of its use, I won't go on.

Cons: There is one con. In the Pros section I spent a lot of time covering the Wand's use as a massager for which is works wonderfully. However as it was designed as such, the two speeds at 5,000 RPM and 6,000 RPM are great for massaging, but there is a world of difference between them. That world of difference becomes an undesired chasm when used for its secondary (or perhaps for some of you, primary, or even sole) use. For this purpose you'll end up wishing the Wand had 3 speeds, 1 squarely in between the two is has now. Minor con though considering how amazing the thing is...

Overall Review: This is a real Hitachi despite what others are reporting and there not being the "Hitachi" name anywhere on the exterior of the device, the box, or the printer materials. (possibly on the interior if one were to open up though?...) This history behind this is that in 2013 Hitachi decided they did not like having their name so attached to a s3x toy (as most people referred to their Magic Wand as their "Hitachi") and were set on terminating the product. Their North American distributor, Vibratex, convinced them to continue production but to rebrand the product. Hitachi agreed and consequently redesigned certain components, bringing about slight improvements in operation and reliability, and also rebranded it the "Magic Wand Original" removing their Hitachi name completely from the product and all materials. They do however still produce it (on the wand it says "Designed in Japan") and it is distributed by their longtime North American distributor, Vibratex. So it IS a real Hitachi, though it will not say so.

Pros: Just as powerful as the HV250 and works exactly the same. trust me this is still the best. Despite it not saying "Hitachi" on the wand it still is made by them (try g**gling "Hitachi Magic Wand wiki") it appears that now Hitachi have actually realized what this is mostly used for they decided to remove their branding from the product. It is just a re-branded model but hit the spot all the time.

Cons: Still a tad loud but its easy to forget that once you get started ...........Also the high speed setting is very powerful.. beware.

Overall Review: It is just the best at what it does. Don't settle for second best. A must have for anyone who loves a good "massage" :)

Cons: - Was going to gift it to someone. Thankfully I read about it and found out that they may get the wrong idea. What is a man to do with this? Well, at least my back feels amazing. - A little noisy, but it is high power. It's also larger than I thought it would be.

Overall Review: This is associated with adult toys, so be careful when buying it as a gift.

Pros: Ok first of all this is the real thing. Hitachi just doesn't put their brand name on it anymore as it is mostly used as a "personnal pleasure item". It is in fact the real deal. Also for those who say this isn't for men... you are soooo sooo wrong. You can get as much pleasure out of it as a woman... beleive me. There are also male attachments you can get for it.... look for hummingbird. I have been using it everyday for the past year or so and it is my best purchase in a long time. I am a 30 year old male. -Powerfull -Feels amazing -The real original I guess it could be used as a massager?

Cons: - A bit loud (especially if you live in an appartment with poor isolation) -Short cord (get yourself an extension cord) -Heats up eventually although it doesn't auto shutoff. This could lead to premature death of said wand. I have howerver been using it for over a year with multiple sessions where it got really hot... stilll going strong. - Gets even louder with use (it's louder than it was initially) - Only 2 settings

Overall Review: Honestly, every single adult human being, man or female, alone or in a couple should own one of these. There is just nothing like it. Please your Partner with it or use it on yourself. I have owned other Tools such as the "SkinLight" if you catch my drift.. and nothing compares.

Pros: Instantly gratifying, no need for any more Bobs (Battery Operated Boyfriends), very pleasuring, Best "Massager" Ever.

Cons: Cord isn't very long. Would benefit a sound damper of some sort, but considering the rpm on this thing is very high, that may not be possible.

Overall Review: Will definitely be purchasing attachments, this is an AWESOME bedroom addition.

Overall Review: Ok so this is the real deal. I wanted to 250r model because that was supposedly the best one. I have had that one before (2 of them) ex's wont give them back, so I am familiar with the OG. So this is just as good as the last one I had durable, strong and here comes the boom. Plain and simple, no matter how good you are its going to make everything better. So don't be scurred just buy it already, indulge. And I do know how to spot the fakes this isn't one. Pros: I received an authentic Magic Wand, not a knock-off. VERY strong vibrations. Slightly soft head, so it's a little forgiving. A quick search finds many add-on accessories to make this more fun. I just got it today, but seems to be very solid and well made.

Cons: These really are relatively minor, especially since I knew about them before the purchase. However, this still isn't perfect. (1) There are only 3 settings: off, low, and high. More settings or a variable speed dial would be nice. The dial really would be an easy addition. (2) This is NOT a silent vibrator! If there are others near where you are using this and you don't want them to know, be sure to turn up the volume on the TV or radio.

Overall Review: This seems like it will be LOTS of fun! Can't wait to try it with my girlfriend. I thought about uploading a video review...but...figured that might not be a good idea.
