Pros: Cheap, works for cases where single-link DVI is sufficient.(1680x1050@60Hz, 1920x1080@60Hz)

Cons: Does not work when dual-link DVI bandwidth is required. (1680x1050@120Hz, 1920x1080@120Hz, 2560x1440@60Hz) The only output is a black screen.

Overall Review: This adapter appears to only provide single link bandwidth. 2560x1440@40Hz (161MHz pixel clock) works with some visual glitches. For reference, single-link DVI is designed for a maximum of 165MHz pixel clock. Avoid this adapter if you are looking to use resolutions above 1920x1080 or refresh rates above 60Hz.

Cons: I initially brought this about half a year ago to hook up some of my machines (Surface, Macbook) to an older Shimian monitor I have that supports Dual Link-DVI only. Of course, it didn't work and I returned it. Half a year later, I forgot I bought this before and ended up buying it again. As before, still doesn't work, so it's not that I got a lemon, but the thing just doesn't work.

Overall Review: DON'T BUY IT. However, I did manage to pick up a Displayport-Dual Link DVI adapter by ACCELL that has worked with all my devices. Get that instead, although it's pricier.

Pros: Works at 100 Hz

Cons: Does not work at a 120 Hz. Yes I am using a dual link cable that has been tested before. The thing says its a Visiontek and its not. The one from Vision tech that I just bought works. as advertised.

Pros: -Does provide dual link output -No additional power needed -Worked up to 2560x1440 (Highest tested)

Cons: -Works great, when it works. Only worked on one out of three 27in monitors I tested it on, at 2560x1440. Other two had many many lines and artifacts. But I only needed it to work with one, All three monitors only support dual link dvi, no HDMI or displayport option available for them (Hence the cheap price) -When computer would wake from sleep mode or hibernation, the working monitor had lines running though it. Had to restart computer to correct this. -Switching to full screen applications took a very long time before the monitor's resolution refreshed, a several seconds behind the other monitors.

Overall Review: The unit itself does work, and as advertise, just not as effectively as hoped. Probably would be fine for 1080p (Didn't test)

Cons: its almost all cons i have a 24'' acer 144hz monitor and it could barley drive 120hz if you just need to go to dp to dvi this will work if you require duel link its a lie will be returning and trying something else please don't buy this
