Pros: High reliability, high compatibility across several brands of DVD burners I've tried them with. Readable in newer stand-alone DVD players that I've used. Durable--disks burned two years ago still work.

Cons: The obvious one. The cost of dual layer DVDs (DVD-9) has not come down anywhere near as much as it did with single layer DVDs (DVD-5). This has limited the number of DL disks I have burned. I don't think much about the cost of media when burning a DVD-5. I have to give it a *little* thought when burning a DVD-9.

Overall Review: About a year and a half ago I gave Verbatim DL disks a "three egg" rating because I got two coasters in a single box of ten. Since then, I have burned 60 or 70 more with this same media without a single coaster due to faulty media. Either I had a run of bad luck before or Verbatim QC has gotten better.

Pros: The discs I received were made in Singapore. I have no experience with the ones made in other countries, but have had great experiences with these ones. I haven't had a single coaster in nearly a year since I started strictly using Verbatim media with my new burner. I have gone through several of these DVD+DL 20 packs, and this is the cheapest I have ever seen them.

Cons: Drinks need coasters. I might actually have to buy coasters now because I don't get any from Verbatim media.

Overall Review: The packaging is newer than the packaging shown in the picture (it's purple/blue instead of blue/white).

Cons: Why? Seriously? What else would you get over Verbatim? You pay for it, that's the only con what else is there?

Overall Review: "Now that they moved their production to a different country the quality is horrible. I have coastered 12 in a twenty pack." Guess what buddy your burner is going out, it's not the media so get over it. Or you decided to multitask while you burned, in the end it doesn't matter. Verbatim has no equal.

Pros: Free shipping. Ordered yesturday and it arrives today! I use Nero and ImgBurn with no problems. I record at 2.4x and no faster. This means I wait longer for the burn and my results are NO coasters on 80+ burns. I just ordered anouther pack!

Cons: Price. DL disc should be reduced in price due to newer and higher capacity disc on the market (blu).

Overall Review: I have not had any issues no matter where the disc were made.

Pros: Using these to burn 360 games and they work great.My second batch from New Egg.Haven t had any coasters yet.

Overall Review: If you are having problems burning 360 games or getting a lot of coasters then its probably your settings.I always burn them at 2.4X Speed.Under Layer Break set at 1913760 Using ImgBurn.Good Luck.

Pros: Ordered 2/10/08, received 2/13/08. Discs were made in Singapore. Burned five so far, all flawless.

Cons: Apparently, the Verbatim DL discs manufactured in I-n-d-i-a are flawed. Note: I had to hyphenate the country's spelling because Newegg flagged it as an "inappropriate word". Now what's up with that???

Overall Review: After reading the recent negative reviews about Verbatim DL discs made in the country whose name shall not be mentioned, I decided to take a chance anyway (with the $8 rebate as added incentive). Whether through mere luck or because Newegg finally got a handle on the problem, I received the Singapore discs.
