Pros: Good replacement for my Tivo fan. It has a small sensor by the blades to detect air temperature while blowing. It runs at 1900rpm when 25c (77F) to 4200rpm 50c(122F)

Overall Review: I replaced my RCA-80 Tivo fan with this unit when I added an second hard drive. With a single hard drive and the stock fan was running 107-111F. The new fan with additional hard drive is running 100-105F.

Pros: Good build quality. Moves air as advertised. I purchased the fan because of the double ball bearing and the advertised number of cubic feet per minute the fan could move.

Cons: I find this fan's method of temperature control unnerving. It has its own idea how fast to run at certain temperatures, and that cannot be user-adjusted. This fan is powered via Molex connector with an extra dongle to report fan RPMs to the motherboard. I wish that dongle had been longer since the fan system fan header on the motherboard was as far from the I/O shield as was possible. The fan throttles its speed based on a thermocouple extending from the motor housing into the airflow on the exhaust side of the unit. This is not the fan to purchase if you are hoping to vary fan speed with utilities like SpeedFan.

Overall Review: This IS the fan to buy if you need to put something in VERY close proximity to a hot spot in your case. If it's a general-use case fan, beware that your computer's hardware and the fan's thermocouple can have very different ideas about how much hot air needs to be moved out of the case. Sadly, the three-egg rating I'm giving this fan may be tempered by the fact I probably didn't understand the fan's features when I bought it. I'm posting this review to tell others what I wish I had known in the first place.

Pros: -Affordable -Good length of wire -Great cooling for 6 bucks.

Cons: -Power connector says it's a "3/4 pin". Just so you know that simply means it's a 3-pin but can be plugged into a 4-pin connector. It's just an annoying way for the company to get sales by tricking noobies. ALL 3-pins work with 4-pin headers. Don't be fooled. -A bit noisy. Nothing outrageous but i was just expecting it to be quieter. For the size of the fan it's definitely not worth docking an egg but you will hear it running.

Overall Review: I used this fan with my Cooler Master Hyper TX3 92mm heatsink for a dual-fan setup. I'm using this to cool an AMD FX-6300 @ 3.8 ghz and my idle temps are 20c, 32c while gaming and under 100% cpu load(P95, sony vegas etc) the highest it reaches is 43c. Very happy with my setup.

Pros: Simple, cheap design that gets the job done. Quiet, too.

Cons: Vantec should have used all three pins on the 3-pin motherboard connector. Instead they only use the third pin so you can read the RPM's from the motherboard, but use Molex connectors for power. It's not a huge problem but it's an annoyance.

Overall Review: I'll probably go find some pins or something and make the power leads run off the 3-pin connector instead of the Molex, but I'm satisfied for now. Bought this fan as the third optional fan for my Thermaltake Lanbox Lite. It sits above the GPU and seems to be getting the job done.

Pros: These are great fans to use for additional heat exhaust. Only spin up as much as needed based on air temperature flowing through them reducing noise factor when full airflow isn't needed. Just remember that the temperature sensor is in the fan body . . . and therefore it should be used as an exhaust fan pushing hot air out of a case. Given their 60mm size, they're still quieter, even at full speed, than other fans in the same size and bearing class. If you need quieter fans with the same airflow rating, get larger fans that can turn at lower RPM to do that (RPM is the biggest factor in noise).

Cons: My only wish is that they could be powered by the motherboard instead of only the fan spinning sensor wire connecting to the motherboard. I will ultimately remove the bulky four-pin drive power connector and put the power connection in the same motherboard connector as the third sensor wire. Would have gotten five eggs if not for that.

Overall Review: Added a pair of these to the back of an old case with new motherboard, processor, graphics card and RAM that generate substantially more heat than the case was designed for (ATX desktop box that dates back to Win95 Socket 7 ATX motherboards). Knew it would need better airflow before rebuilding it. Gave a great, heavy-duty steel case a new lease on life!

Pros: I installed this to the back screen hole of my DELL 9150. Men I can tell you this blower is good. The temp sensor really reacts to the temperature inside your computer and would spin fast when environment is hot. And to be honest is not really that loud, and it does push tons of air out!

Cons: None!

Pros: Runs very quietly. Automatic temp sensor to adjust its own speed. Has wire for mobo to detect RPM. Even includes screws.

Cons: Not a whole lot of airflow, but this is a pretty small case fan.

Overall Review: For all those silly people saying this fan needs longer screws to use with their CPU, don't be ridiculous. This is a CASE fan, *not* a CPU fan. It doesn't produce nearly enough airflow to keep a CPU cool. But if you insist on melting down your processor, don't say you hadn't been warned.

Pros: Good airflow at relatively low noise. I need airflow and don't mind some noise--the silent PC type fans just won't move air like I need them to, but I cannot stand any fan like a Tornado or high power Delta...this is a happy medium.

Cons: None for me..the noise/airflow ratio is perfect...not suitable for a silent PC freak, though.

Overall Review: Good value for someone who needs to move more air than most stock cases do, but doesn't want to be deafened by their PC. The three pin connectors and thermostat are very nice too.
