Pros: They're lightweight, bright as advertised, very low cost to run, spread light well. Feel free to change bare-handed even after being on for a while.

Cons: not natural light style, but weren't advertised as such either.

Overall Review: I've both measured and noticed a reduced energy bill by using these throughout my house. Most are the 60 watt versions, but these in particular are used in smaller areas and really spread the light out more than I thought they would.

Pros: Great bulbs that were packaged nicely and for the price was an excellent buy for 6 bulbs ($12.99). They are super bright, and they are the cool white nearing the 5K measurement, so if you are used to the soft white bulbs that most people would normally buy for a lamp, this may be a shock. The energy savings of this bulb is incredible. Box says the bulb will last about 16.5 years and will cost about $0.72 a year to run based on using 3/hr a night. Even the other energy saving bulbs I had before this, that were easily 4x more expensive, could only boast a cost of $2.73 a year to run, and a 9 year life. Also the Thinklux bulbs say they can be used in a moisture area, so they are great for a unfinished basement that might get some moisture in the air. And since they are LED, they can be on for an hour or more and you can still just grab the bulb and it is cool to the touch.

Cons: If you are not ready for cool white, these could get very annoying in a living room lamp that usually provides a soft white. And because of them being cool white, they will seem to be brighter than 40W and could be a bit blinding at first.

Overall Review: Great overall purchase and will easily pay for themselves over a few years if you are replacing standard incandescent bulbs, not just with the energy savings, but also through not having to replace burned out bulbs.

Pros: Arrived promptly and work fine.

Cons: Be advised that these bulbs are stark white cool, not a warm white. Kind of looks like you're in an office.

Pros: So far, so good. Using 4 bulbs replacing the existing fixtures. Cool to the touch, seems well made. I also bought the 60W model.

Cons: None so far. Time will tell how long they will last.

Overall Review: Longevity is the only question that only time can answer. Didn't check the electric bill but they are cool to the touch so I can assume little energy is lost to heat.
