Cook w/ it in Ubuntu desktop 10/20/2009 8:33:51 AM

Pros: Works well. Very powerful card but you can read review benchmarks on it. Majority of heat is pushed out the back (connector end) but it doesn't actually have a double wide bracket so the heat might not be funneled out of the case quite as well as a card with a cover that goes clear to the 2nd slot outlet... say like my x f x GTX-260. Good price for a 275. Gamers might want to look at the new HD58xx cards though.

Cons: Out of the box ran very hot. 59C idle and 91C on an extended full load. After baking a chicken with it I would've RMA'd it except that "nvclock -F auto -f" kicked in it's agressive auto fan control that brought the full load down to an acceptable extended full load temp of 78C at the cost of some semi-serious fan noise but not an issue in my noisy environment.

Overall Review: using latest beta 190.36 driver.

Awesome! 10/16/2009 1:59:01 PM

Pros: Basically everything you could want in a video card.

Cons: HUGE! Almost didn't fit in my apevia X-Supra case.

Great card for the $$$ 8/25/2009 9:29:56 AM

Pros: Just bought this for a mid-range gaming build, and couldn't be happier. Shreds everything I've thrown at it with no problem, runs cool, never seen it over 75 full load (could be the antec case doing its job too) =). Got COD WaW with the card, great game.

Cons: None so far.

Overall Review: Skeptical going with Sparkle at first (over BFG or EVGA), but good warranty and great price, even with slight OC out of the box. As soon as i hit a snag with some game in the future i'll just grab a second one for SLI.

BTW I have antec 900 case, and this thing fits with about an inch to spare, so be sure you have a big enough case, otherwise you might have to get creative during the installation. These 200 series cards are impressively huge.
