To solve this problem and bring listeners enhanced TV listening experience, Simolio's SM-905TV incorporates sound amplification so volume is not weakened as it goes from TV to earphones. Instead, volume is boosted (up to 114dB±3dB).
But this wired tv headset is not just about "louder" volume. TONE can be adjusted for better clarified voice, so tv viewers do not need to set headphones to max vol to hear the TV clearly.

BEFORE PURCHASING:
1. Wired headphones powered by battery. Not wireless headphones.
2. TVs that ONLY have optical or coaxial audio output will require a digital to analog converter (available at our store separately, search SIMOLIO SM-905TV & DAC Bundle) to work.
3. TVs / Stereo / AV Receiver with only a big 6.35mm (1/4 inch) phone jack will require a 6.35mm to 3.5mm adapter to work.
BEWARE/IMPORTANT:
1. Use the 1.5M cable with in-line MIC for phone calls, con-calls, voice chats etc.
2. These wired over ear headphones are designed for TV watching mostly, with a emphasis on voice clarity over sound richness. Not for bass lover.
For clearer voice, open the headphone cover on the right earphone, rotate the TONE dial to right. For normal sound, rotate the TONE dial all the way
left.
3. For some TVs, if there is no sound after connecting headphones to the proper "AUDIO OUT" jack, please set your TV audio settings to "Headset" or "External Speakers". Please refer to the TV Setting menu for more information, as the settings vary by brand and model.

1. No sound from the headphones?
Make sure battery has power and headphones are turned on every time the headphones are used. If headphones are used on TV, please also make audio settings on your TV are properly set. For example, for some Vizio TVs, set the "Analog Audio Out" to "fixed".
2. Do these long corded headphones work with all TVs?
These headphones only work with TV that has a red and white RCA audio out port, or a mini 3.5 AUX port with a headphone icon.
Some TVs only have a digital audio out (optical) or coaxial port. If wired headphones are to be used on such TVs, an additional digital to analog audio converter (not included, please purchase separately).
3. How could it be that wired headphones would require a battery to work?
While most wired headsets on the market require no battery or switching on, SIMOLIO SM-905TV over ear headphones for TV watching work and only work with a battery. This is because sound amplifying is introduced in the headphones to make headphone volume enhanced better, which would be needed for users with some hearing difficulties.
