The ideal home for an Intel 3.2 Ghz Core 2 Quad Extreme processor, Shuttle's SX48P2 Deluxe breaks new ground in performance. The mainboard houses an Intel X48 Express chipset and is ready to work with 45nm Core 2 multi-core processors as well as Pentium D and Dual-Core units. Up to 8GB of DDR3 memory can be installed with full dual channel support. A pair of high-speed PCI-Express x16 expansion cards can be installed to handle any graphic challenge as well as displays on four monitors. A third, Mini-PCIe slot supports Intel Turbo Memory.
User-friendly overclocking allows advanced users to adjust the frequency and voltage of the CPU and RAM for additional performance while the Shuttle Integrated Cooling Engine combines linear fan control and advanced heat-pipe technology to keep the processor operating at safe temperatures. Three independent cooling zones extend the life of your components. Four drives – a 5.25" and three 3.5" units – can be mounted with access through a pair of stealthed doors.
A dual Gigabit LAN controller supports teaming mode or you can connect via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Experience top-end audio performance with 7.1 channel HD audio with Dolby Digital Live! and DTS Connect.
