Pros: Lot's of storage space. Bought this drive because it is supposed to last a long time. Works great as a plex server drive. About to buy more and setup an Unraid server.

Cons: Only con is that getting Seagate to give you the full 5 year warranty is a bit tedious. Be persistant and they will though.

Overall Review: Great drive so far. The ones sold and Shipped from Newegg are Retail, so they do indeed have the 5 year warranty. You need to register it on Seagates website. The website will probably say the warranty ends 5 years after Newegg received the drives. Just contact Seagates support about it and make sure they update the warranty end date to 5 years after YOU actually ordered the drive. You will probably go through a few reps before someone will fix the warranty issue and a rep or two might say that its an oem drive so the warranty isn't valid, but it IS in fact a Retail drive and their actually IS a 5 year warranty. Just be persistent about it. They will eventually fix the warranty.

Pros: I have Seagate Barracuda drives 6 yrs and older run 24/7 and are perfect. This is my 1st Exos drive. 1st one would not initialize, just some audible clicks then would spin down. after nearly a month to do an exchange, (ARRGGHH) 2nd works perfect. May not be Seagate's fault, ya here about clowns in warehouses and shippers throwing boxes around like footballs. (dickheads). What goes around comes around.

Cons: A little spooked about 1st one being DOA.. Well see how this one holds up

Overall Review: From building my own desktops for 20 years now i would not hesitate to recommend a Seagate Drive.

Pros: The hard drive works great The issue I ran into wasn't the hard drive so much as my Motherboard manufacturer and Power Supply manufacturer having the availability of the correct cabling to connect to the hard drive. For Example the connectors I had were one 90 degree and straight connection when I really needed straight connector between motherboard to the hard drive. I was lucky my power supply had a long enough power connector to connect the hard drive. Be sure to look at the connections and running lengths between motherboard & power supply to the hard drive. I had to order specific sata cable to make the run to the hard drive possible. Also the Drive cage included in my computer case was an odd design, so be sure to study on what design 'features' you will have to negotiate while getting the hard drive connected.

Cons: No Cons so far I hope to have this hard drive last as long as the warranty or more.

Overall Review: It's a hard drive made of flying rust, not a complaint but won't be as fast as M.2 drive or SSD drive but fits my needs to archive items I need to store and read / write speeds isn't an issue for me personally for what it was purchased for.

Pros: I purchased two Exos harddrives for my NAS. One was fine; one was defective. I contacted the seller, who promptly issued an RMA for the defective drive, with prepaid freight label issued. The return was processed within one day of their receipt of the defective drive. Since they no longer had it in stock, they immediately issued a refund to my credit card. Stuff happens. I got one good drive out of the deal, and very prompt, very courteous response to the problem. Highly recommend these people.
