Plagued by defective hardware 12/19/2015 8:32:23 PM

Pros: Nice color scheme matched my system, but that's about it. I can't say terribly nice things about it.

Cons: I ran it without even using it for intensive gaming for about six months. The card display is very flaky when showing dark content with what appears to be some kind of interference noise. Started using it heavily for Fallout 4 and the hardware has progressively displayed more fatigue, so now it's graphical glitches galore! Bottom corner of the screen will glitch a mirrored image of what it is displaying in a roughly triangular shape. It doesn't matter what I do now. It glitches out while I'm navigating a website or just moving windows around in the GUI. It's basically toast. People say this is an issue with the 280x line and I'm apparently another casualty of a dreadfully poor card. Feels like a huge waste of money sitting in my machine.

Overall Review: This was my first ever performance GPU purchase. I'm in the process of getting warranty support active on it though I've always been very pessimistic about seeing results. I baby my hardware. I even tried to underclock this card thinking that was going to solve the issue but NOPE!

Pros: We'll at the time I got it for $220 and was a good deal too. Ive been using it since I bought it very good low to mid or mid range which ever you prefer to call it card good for budget pc gaming.

Cons: None that I'm aware of works perfectly.

4k not working 5/26/2015 12:18:41 AM

Pros: For games pretty good !...

Cons: I bought this card because I needed to set up 3 screens and one is a 4k screen...tried everything ...got it to work once, turned computer off and next day back to normal without 4k and message that driver is not working correctly. I had Nvidia for 10 years and this was a a big disappointment!! I spend about 10 hours to fix the issue...and dont have the time to return the card right now...you get what you pay for :(

Overall Review: Normally solve all my computer problems myself and have a self built rig for the last 10 years but ...dont have the time to sent it back for replacement...as graphic designer and photographer the card is in constant use...just sucks that quality is so low! Will go back to nvidia!

Lots of problems 4/26/2015 1:57:08 PM

Pros: It runs

Cons: Major issues across multiple games. League of Legends i get lower FPS than my old card and constantly getting file dump errors and the game crashes. Diablo 3 massive fps issues. Skyrim looks awful even with mods I am not alone in having these issues and many have tried to fix it. Look elsewhere for a new card.

Great Card... 4/9/2015 1:34:40 AM

Pros: I could not get it to go over 65°C I ran valley benchmarks and I had 0 crashes and it kept up with a constant 60 fps, It can run dayz and h1z1 at 1920x1080 at a constant 40-80 fps

Cons: I have had a couple issues with the overclocking thats about all that I can think of

Overall Review: I think it is a good card, but you can now get better cards for the price of this at this day in time.

Nice! 3/13/2015 7:35:54 PM

Pros: Good Quality Back plate card stays cool under 70⁰c.
Play BF$ on ultra 1920x1080 over 60 frames. New driver for AMD has Rapter Envolved good product for capturing.

Cons: Card is great but the Rebate was another thing they lost the UPC that was stapled to the Application. So no $20 rebate. Thats why I gave 3 Star for not giving an instant rebate.

Disappointed 3/13/2015 6:39:38 PM

Pros: Noticeable real-world improvements. Running all my games smoothly at high settings with no issues. Significant increases in average FPS from my old 6950. Temps did no exceed 65 C. Quiet.

Cons: Highly disappointed. RMA'ing card back to Sapphire (hopefully their customer service doesn't give me the run-around). Noting graphic issues with the original Dead Space that are not present with my old card.

Overall Review: Long. Do your homework before posting how it didn't fit in your case because you didn't bother to read specs.

the value 3/12/2015 9:21:15 AM

Pros: 3GB of VRAM. got it for $243. decently OCed to 1075mhz and 1550 memory clock. runs bf4 and a steady fps higher than 60 ultra preset. the 960 is 200 and can't really so this because of the lack of VRAM that bottlenecks the card a bit. the 4gb 960 is going to be more expensive than this when I got it and also the memory bus width will hold it back in some texture heavy games. it also has a really nice backplate. didn't get past 75 degrees celsius in uni heaven (extreme graphics, normal tesselation, 4x msaa, 1080p) with an average frame rate of ~50fps

Cons: no amd version of DSR on this. its also big but since I removed a drive cage it has more than enough room for me.
