The SanDisk WD Blue SN5100 is a 1TB internal NVMe solid state drive for consumer systems. Its PCIe 4.0 x4 interface, M.2 2280 form factor, and high sequential read and write speeds support storage, project files, and AI-enabled workflows.
Key Features
Built with 3D NAND, SANDISK 3D CBA NAND technology, and SANDISK nCache 4.0 technology, the drive supports file and project folder transfers. Downloadable data migration software helps transfer files to the drive, while the downloadable SANDISK Dashboard application monitors SSD performance and checks for updates.
Performance
The drive provides maximum sequential read speeds up to 7,100 MBps and maximum sequential write speeds up to 6,700 MBps. 4KB random performance reaches up to 1,000,000 IOPS for reads and up to 1,300,000 IOPS for writes.
Design
The M.2 2280 internal SSD measures 2.38mm in height, 22mm in width, and 80mm in depth. It weighs 5.7g and does not include a heatsink.
