Pros: 2x the speed of G for file transfers from one N client to the other (verified with Copy Handler speed transfer client). Newegg has a great RMA policy and Rosewill is there to back it and please the customers, which is rare nowadays.
Cons: Still not as good as 100 mbps LAN (about half the speed, again verified watching Copy Handler). Took a long time to find out the "real source" of my connection problem. (read on) First unit had a broken antenna (probably shipping).
Overall Review: Two wireless G clients pushes about .5 mbps from client to client file transfer. Wireless N pushes about 2-3+ mbps for client to client file transfer. LAN cable connection pushes about 4-6mbps for client to client file transer. I was running speedtest.net and speakeasy.net speedtests and would noticed a slip. Everyonce in awhile, the connection to the router would drop (couldnt ping) and the speakeasy speedtest would throttle down for a second and then shoot back up. This affected VOIP. After about 2 days of messing with every single setting imaginable, I noticed 2 things: 1. If you drop to just B+G mode, this doesnt occur (although file transfers are slower) 2. If you drop the transmit rate from auto to 54mbps this doesnt happen either (although file transfers are about half the speed) *So I decided to drop the beacon interval from 100 to 20. Voila. Solid connection, no drops, no VOIP interference annnnd...still faster file transfers.* So if you have any pro
