Pros: Install fine. Just make sure you load the driver from the included CD 1st. Also make sure your power supply has an extra FDD Power 4pin connection to connect to the card to give it extra power.

Overall Review: I got this card at the same time with a portable ADATA 500 GB Nobility NH01 hard drive. Only had both for one day but everything work on Win 7 PRO 64 bits systems. Use it for system image backup for my SSD drive.

Pros: Worked great for several weeks. Drivers installed perfectly and it recognized my 3.0 external hard drives.

Cons: After about a month, the external hard drives I plugged in would light up but the computer would not load them. This started as an intermittent problem, but now it doesn't work at all. The drives worked perfectly when plugged into the 2.0 slot.

Pros: Works great with my Win 7 Pro 64 PC. Installed the drivers and haven't had any issues. Transfer rates with my external USB 3.0 Hard drive is just as fast as internal SATA drives. A bargain compared to the other cards out there. Uses same NEC Chipset as most other USB 3.0 Cards.

Cons: Does not come with power adapter cable to convert SATA or Molex power connections to the floppy type connector that this card uses for extra power. You will need this extra power connection if you connect any bus powered devices like portable USB powered portable hard drives. Otherwise, if all your USB devices are self powered (or you are using a powered USB 3.0 hub), this card still works great without the extra power connection.

Pros: Works perfect on my Supermicro WHS 2.0 server. i had to install the drivers but after that it just works. The price is great compared to other USB 3.0 cards.

Pros: Works fine, no problems. Significant speed increase with USB 3.0 external drive.

Cons: small problem getting card installed. The tab on the bottom of the bracket didn't want to slide into place when the card was lined up with the PCIe slot. Got it in ok after fussing a few minutes. Didn't have to force anything, just had to line up everything just right.

Pros: Easily installed, drivers were installed without issue on Win7 x64 Home version.

Cons: The power connection is a bit flimsy and should be handled with care. A little tough to make the connection, but with a extra few seconds of care it went on without issue.

Overall Review: Be aware of your PCIe capabilities. My older MSI MB does not appear to support the full speed of USB 3.0 via PCIe. There is about a 10 MBs jump in speed when transferring large data from my portable hard drive when using 3.0 vs. 2.0. This may be due to the capabilities of the drive and not the USB...but I doubt it. Not a bad purchase, but had I known I wouldn't be able to fully use the USB 3.0 speeds, I may have passed on this product. No fault of Rosewill or Newegg...I was just too lazy to read my MB owner's manual!

Pros: Have had no problems with it. Recently noticed drivers install automatically from Microsoft now.
