Very Good Discs6/10/2009 10:16:43 AM
Pros: Very solid disc and very compatable as well. Label prints well and drys fast. I just love RiData media and have always had good luck with it.
Cons: Label print tends to be a bit dull. Ritek has rounded the outer edge of the disc which makes it difficault to pick them up properly, they tend to slip out of my hand. If your a disc pincher this wouldn't be a problem but that is not proper usage, you should never pinch your discs.
Overall Review: There are 25 Discs in this package for those of you wondering what the package quantity is.
My favorite disc media is TY Watershield which produce a nice glossy hi-res label that is water resistant. It would be nice to se Ritek and others to follow that model.
Excellent Disc, Excellent Value10/12/2010 9:43:35 AM
Pros: These discs deserve more attention then they are receiving. This is excellent hub-printable media at a price that is better then most no-name discs! Shows up in Imgburn as 4x, 6X, 8X despite being labeled as only 4X. They burn very nicely with perfect playback on my set top LG BD550 Blu-Ray player at 6X with my LG WH10LS30K Burner. The printable surface on this disc is as nice as any other matt printable disc and I think it actually provides a better picture then the verbatim discs I have used. Not one coaster yet!
Cons: My burner isn't able to maintain full 8X speed while writing to the disc, but that could be caused by a number of different factors (HDD, Burner, Media, etc.) I'm still thrilled to get solid 6X performance from media only advertised at 4X.
Overall Review: Blu-ray burning is a demanding task. Having a computer with adequate speed and resources available makes a huge difference in the quality of the burns you turn out. Before claiming to have bad media, a bad burner or whatever else, I would make sure that you've done some good housekeeping on your PC. Updating your burner FW, making sure you have clean, smooth running OS installed and minimizing or eliminating any programs running in the background can all have a huge impact on your overall performance.

Pros: Nice printing, no coasters, works great on Pioneer BD-205. All 25 good to go under imgburn these come up as 2X, 4X, 8X, 10X, 2X- 8X buffers never flinches during burn process. 10X gets semi-shakey but still good burns, 4.0GHz wolfdale 4 GB ram, X48 mobo 2) raid-0 raptors.
Cons: Still a little expensive, considering you can get 4X DL name brand on fleabay if you dig 10 pack for $90.00
Overall Review: I see quite a number of people cursing RiData brand media, I have never had any problems with these, dvd, dvd+rDL ect. I think Ridata loves pioneer and some LG but not others. I would have to guess that the new 6X media will burn 12X.
Pros: Great product here and very cheap compared to the competition. I have never bought this brand before but they work great with my HP Photosmart C5280 for printing directly on them and not one coasters with my Sony Optiarc BD-5300S.
Cons: None
Overall Review: Just hope prices on BD-R keep dropping!
Pros: These are incredibly affordable and have been consistently solid in creating both BluRay video disks and Data disks. Also, love the fact that I can print straight to the disk.
Pros: Very solid disc and very compatable as well. Label prints well and drys fast. I just love RiData media and have always had good luck with it.
