Overall Review: I purchased this product on a New Egg sale. The unit arrived in a few days via USPS (thanks, New Egg!), well packed and undamaged. The set-up is easy and the manual offers recommended settings for most features, which is nice while still giving people who want/know more flexibility to vary just about every setting imaginable. I put a larger (64 GB) SD card in it, which it accepted with no problem after formatting the card using the camera itself, then updated the firmware to the latest version. Contacted customer service by email for a question, to which they responded within only a few hours, and they even volunteered to send me some extra parts for free. So far so good. Recommended product and company.

Pros: It does what it needs to do Comes on automatically when it receives power Faithfully records everything Excellent customer service Very low profile, and an excellent mount. Will not fall off like lesser mounts, and is perfect tucked behind the mirror where it doesn't inhibit my vision.

Cons: Video quality is good but not perfect, though not worth taking an egg off You have to play with the exposure to get the recording right, otherwise the sun glare can wash out the scene

Overall Review: My original unit stopped turning on after a few months of use. I contacted Rexing and they sent me a new unit with a pre-addressed label for the old one. The new one is just as solid and I hope to get many years of protection from it.

Pros: - 1080p - Image quality is great, license plates can be read from a reasonable distance (50-75 feet) - Audio quality is great - Supports 128GB SD card (nearly 24 hours of 1080p footage with audio, potentially more without audio or in 720p mode). - Supports the Rexing GPS and a $30 upgrade to the Rexing V1P, which is the same product but has a rear camera that shoots 640x480. However, 640x480 means even LPs from cars right behind you are not readable.

Cons: - Night time/low light performance is meh. If you live in a city with lots of ambient lighting like street lights, store lights, other cars then it's good but on dark roads you'll want good headlights to go with it. - Only includes one mounting sticker. If you mess up when mounting the camera you have to order a new mounting sticker

Overall Review: I've owned this dashcam for nearly 6 months before writing the review and I am very glad for the purchase. There have been quite a few close calls with other drivers where the dash came would have helped me had I actually been hit. It seems to be able to handle hot weather just fine. I had left it out numerous times but don't recommend you do the same. You'll quickly discover that you want to put a big SD card in the camera; a 32GB card holds only 5 hours of footage when recording 1080p+Audio. For me, that's about 1.5 weeks of driving. After switching to 128GB it could hold 24 hours of footage.

Pros: Auto on and off. Concealed. EZ to install.

Cons: None that I encountered.

Overall Review: Great car cam. Get one ! Or two for both my cars like I did!

Pros: Image quality is very good.

Cons: Built-in battery discharges under normal usage conditions. The built-in battery becomes fully discharged in about 4 hour when recording with the display on, 10 hours with the display off. This unfortunately makes the unit unusable, as the only way to charge the built-in battery is to leave the power on and the recording off - for many hours. I spent many hours upgrading the firmware, testing with different memory cards, chargers, cables, etc., but the results were all consistent - the issue is with the unit itself. I contacted Rexing customer service, and they sent in a replacement unit free of charge. But the replacement had the same issue. I am still willing to believe I was just unlucky to get two bad units in a roll. But I can't afford to spend any more time testing yet another unit. So I requested a refund. I give Rexing customer service five stars. They were courteous and responsive. I wrote them a long report about my test case details, in the hope that the find it useful.

Pros: easy mounting and long usb cable provided.

Cons: Cheaply made. Not easy to operate, clumsy to maneuver in and out of menu system. Image quality terrible not as advertised.
