The SH14 is a continuation of last year's industry-acclaimed waterproof and shockproof SH93 portable hard drive. The company is touting the super-tough exterior of the SH14, and is again targeting the on-the-go crowd whose active lifestyles call for shockproof performance. The SH14 offers a new approach to shock-resistant design, combining a modern style and a SuperSpeed USB 3.0 interface with military-grade shockproof and water-resistant construction. IPX4 Water-Resistant StandardThe SH14 has been put to the test against water penetration, with the USB port sealed by the silicone cover. The SH14 is then sprayed with water at all angles at 10liters per minute, at a pressure of 80-100kN for five minutes. After the spray test, the SH14 functions normally and free of mechanical failures.
