Pros: Beautiful design and each to install. When the ARGB works it looks better than most other RAM modules. I have always had good luck with Viper Chips till now.
Cons: Doesn't work with ASUS Armory Crate or Aura Create even though the box shows the AURA compatible logo. Have contacted ASUS support numerous times but they have been unable to fix the issues and with the most recent update it broke completely. The ASUS Armory Crate now fails to even recognize the chips. Patriot provides only generic feedback. If buying an ASUS board go only with listed RAM.
Overall Review: Sorry, I can't recommend these chips till I find a solution. Right now I can't even turn the chips off and when the system sleeps they remain on. I suspect this has more to do with ASUS than Patriot but Patriot put the AURA logo on the box. They should make sure that ASUS has a set of these and tests them.
