The thin portable chargers just need a sunny or shady spot to go to work! Sleek and slim, the S1050 solar charger fits on a window sill. Once the batteries are charged, the S1050 will work anywhere to charge your devices. The unit is glass free and durable. Temperature doesn't affect the charger. Solar chargers do not lose performance when the temperature exceeds 77°F (25° C) as under actual outdoor operating conditions. In sunny situations, it will charge a MP3 player in 2.5 hours (See chart for additional charging times). The solar conductor is constructed by depositing extremely thin layers on flexible stainless steel substrate. Typically the panel is 1 millimeter thick. The charger is exceptionally durable and is strengthened by being encapsulated in UV stabilized polymers.
