Pros: Excellent 3G speed: I dropped in my iPhone Sim Card and tested at home and with ATT 3G I had 2Mb/s dowload and 1 Mb/s upload. Even on EDGE give a decent speed for a cellular modem.

Cons: AT&T Connection Manager needs the machine to restart and I sometimes cannot get the wireless to run after using the card, but this is a known issue with Intel PRO/Set WIFI profiles. I think I need to upgrade the Intel PRO/Set to the latest version.

Overall Review: You need to create a new profile in AT&T connection manager to make it work: Access Point Name: wap.cingular Username: WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM Password: CINGULAR1

Pros: Cheap way to get a PCMCIA Cell modem. Takes any GSM SIM card. Unlocked.

Cons: Antenna kind of flimsy. No 1700mhz band, required for TMobile 3g.

Overall Review: This works great for EDGE speed on TMobile. Just set your APN to epc.tmobile.com and connect. I saw speeds of just under 0.2 mbps, certainly not blazing but good for basic connectivity on the road. If you want a card to use occasionally and don't mind swapping in your phone SIM (must have data plan), this is a great way to do it.

Pros: *Relatively good speeds attained. The highest I've seen so far is 0.8 Mbps down and 0.31 Mbps up in my house. Should get better outside when I'm traveling. *Windows 7 quickly found and installed necessary drivers for the card. *There's also a feature to send and receive text messages with the software. *Great for computer access on the road without binding yourself to another wireless contract.

Cons: None!

Overall Review: The AT&T Communication manager was able to install, but it just couldn't connect to the network (the most current version and the one that came on the disc). The device kept flashing red and blue quickly indicating that I should remove and reinsert the card. I troubleshooted with the compatibility wizard, but no luck. I decided to download the software from Option directly called GlobeTrotter Connect. After inputting the same account settings as recommended by the other review and it worked flawlessly! If some people have this issue I suggest doing the same. You'll still connect the same way; it's just the interface that is different. I have a $10/month unlimited data service under a family plan and it was functional, just in case anyone wanted to know.

Pros: This PCMCIA card does what it says. Getting over 3Mbps, used it in US, Japan and Korea (I have international data plan from my provider). Not as fast as WiFi, but quite sufficient.

Cons: You do need to install the latest drivers (3.x) from the site in the manual, and you do need to configure it for your wireless provider. Do not install AT&T software if your provider is different.

Overall Review: This card fully met my expectations.

Pros: It's exactly what the picture says it is. I tested it with my T-Mobile (US) SIM in a known 3G area (~320Kb on a tethered Nokia 3555) and got GPRS/EDGE (30Kb) speed. It *is* unlocked, and it works in Ubuntu 9.10 without drivers.

Cons: Apparently no 3G on T-Mobile's network. This is a mild con given the price and the fact that t-mo 3g's bands are different from most of the rest of the world.

Overall Review: I haven't tried vendor drivers on Win7 yet, so maybe they're needed to get 3G. Also, it is USB internally - the card has a built-in Cardbus->USB bridge. Really. :) (this doesn't help if you have a laptop without cardbus, tho)

Pros: Worked flawless on my iPhone 3G 8G with Windows XP HOME edition with all of the microsoft updates. Tested at home and with ATT 3G I had 1Mb/s dowload and 1 Mb/s upload.

Cons: Wish it would be USB, you need to make sure you have a PC CARD TYPE 2 Slot on your laptop or it will not work. Cannot try on my MAC since it does not have a PC CARD SLOT. Cannot find a PC to USB converter in order to use on my other laptops without the PC slot.

Pros: Works, Netflix will stream. Good price.

Cons: The antenna looks like it could break some what easily but probably will not if carefull. Like others have said, you have to change the APN, username and password. If it was not for the posts in this feedback area I would have never gotten it to work. I bought this to use with a laptop about 2 years old works fine, now at work we got new laptops and they do not have PCMCIA sockets anymore. I'm currently looking online for an adapter to work with laptops with an ExpressCard slot.

Overall Review: For fun I downloaded iTunes and the download rate was about 200-350KB/s with about 4 of 5 bars (sorry I don't remember the exact speed and signal) ping times where some times 1600ms Over all happy, glad I still have the Unlimited Data Plan with AT&T.

Pros: CHEAP! Reception on this thing is as good, or better, as my USB model. Works flawlessly (and FAST) with ATT. Antenna seems flimsy but I whacked it pretty good and it didn't break so there's another egg.

Cons: My D630 has the PC slot in the front left corner so the incessant blinking of the LED is near impossible to ignore. I'll apply a piece of electrical tape when I get home lest I succumb to a light induced seizure.

Overall Review: PCMCIA instead of USB. This is my only PC Card device so I don't have to worry about fishing it out of my laptop bag when I need it - it's always plugged in. That frees up a much needed USB port for one of the other million gadgets I tote around in my laptop bag.
