Overall Review: There was a time when I thought fairly highly of ViewSonic monitors, but in the last year my opinion has changed a lot. Not only did this Ultrawide develop a black vertical stripe in less than two months, but I've had no less than three other ViewSonic monitors in our offices develop 'blackout' issues - going dark for a second or two at a time. Sometimes once or twice a day, then becoming two or three times an hour, then a couple of times a minute - at which point they also start making some unpleasant 'popping' sounds from the back, around the power supply area. Very disappointing. I thought at first it may be an issue with the Thunderbolt docking stations, but after switching the ViewSonic monitor out for another brand the problem went away. Same dock, same cables. If you get one of these, I hope it works well for you, without any issues. I will be staying away from ViewSonic in the future, both personally and for our business use.
