Awesome Keyboard

Pros: Great keyboard for typing, I love the feel of the blue switches. This keyboard has a very nice simple design. NO RGB like most other mechanical keyboard. The keyboard is solid with a nice weight.

Cons: No issues so far (6 months) I have not had any of the stated issued other reviews have mentioned.

Good mechanical keyboard

Pros: The Cherry keys are crisp unlike membrane style keyboards. I did have the left Ctrl key go bad on one keyboard after a few years of modest use.

Cons: For whatever reason the version 2 of this keyboard has very slow repeat key motion compared to version 1 or other keyboards that I have used. I adjusted the repeat keystroke speed to max and the delay to the shortest possible in Win 7 and it's almost what a normal default speed would be. The right angle mini USB connection does not work well on any of my PCs. The straight cable connector as used on the version 1 model of the keyboard is much better IME.

Overall Review: While this is a good keyboard it could be improved considerably with a few changes.

not really a review of the product just some win10 advice about USB controllers quit working at random.

Pros: It's not the keyboard causing your issues

Cons: Windows has been slowly wrecking themselves ever since they ditched windows7. Recommend Ubuntu to keep that windows feel while operating as Android phones do using sdk/apk instead of exe or having to compile everything you want to install which you had to with Linux years ago.

Overall Review: I highly doubt the USB controller failure people are experiencing have anything to do with the keyboard as this is and has been a win10 issue for some time now. The exact same thing happens to my pci-e 3.1 m.2 to USB type c drive which if it wasn't plugged in before the cold boot the device will malfunction 5-20 mins after replugging or rebooting pc. Completely power your comp off, take off power cable out of psu, remove any USB or Poe connections supplying power to your computer (no need to remove cr2032 bios battery just let that be so you don't lose your bios config). After all power has been severed to your computer plug the keyboard into a different USB slot, reconnect all Ethernet/power/USB cables previously disconnected, hit your power button to turn on your computer and with a little bit of luck your problem will be solved until you crash or reboot your computer at which time you may or may not have to repeat the process to get it working properly again. Complain to Microsoft because this is obviously a Windows issue after reading so many similar complaints which are spot on with my ext. usb 3.1 m.2 drive which after the longest time of it working properly decided not to function properly again and this is the only thing I can think of off hand in which I had done differently. Just rebooting your computer will not good the issue bare minimum would bea shut down followed by boot 30 seconds afterwards to sure ram memory cleared before boot. Hope this helps or at least guides you into the right direction of solving your problem.

Finally! A PC keyboard I like.

Pros: In a former life I was a typesetter, so I know what I like in keyboards. Best PC board I've had before this was a now long-gone Northgate OmniKey Ultra, and nothing since could approach that for feel and precision — until this.

I've had it for quite a few months, after spending far too much over the years on other keyboards. Gaming keyboards, wireless keyboards, wavy keyboards, angled keyboards, you name it. Mushy feel, lightshows, uncertain connections, wonky legends on the keycaps — one's keycaps showed the shift characters *under* the main characters, which turned out to be an amazingly irritating nuisance — and one thats legends started to wear off some keycaps within the first year.

No issues with this Rosewill. It's a keyboard. It works. There are no superfluous keys for video games or whatever. The audible and mechanical feedback of the Cherry MX Blues are just right for me, although those preferences can be quite personal with people who spend a lot of time on the keyboard.

And it cost a heck of a lot less than some I've blown money on.

It's a good board.

Cons: Some reviewers have negatively commented on the angled USB connector. So far I've had no problems with it, but I do see that in my case the cable has to go out and down almost immediately to get behind the keyboard shelf, so there is some asymmetric load at the connection point. I expect it will be okay, as long as I don't inadvertently yank on the cable where it runs under the desk or something.

Are the blue indicator lights for numlock, caps lock, and scroll lock a bit bright, as some have complained? Yeah, I guess they are a bit bright, now that you mention it, but not so bright as to be an issue for me. You're not looking directly down into them anyway.

Overall Review: Would I recommend? Sure, as long as you know what you know what you like in a keyboard and just want it to do its job.

Good...but it's no Model M

Pros: It's a pretty decent keyboard...the Cherry Blue switches are reasonably loud (as expected) and have a definite click when pressed. Keyboard is heavy enough to not move around while typing -- unlike your typical cheap membrane keyboard you can tell there's definitely some metal in there, though it's not the MASSIVE plate of something like a Model M. Tiny bit of red accent too but only underneath the key switches so it's rather subtle. Maybe they should have gone with matching red LEDs instead of blue though...that's a bit odd, and blue light is kinda awful anyway (due to health/sleep issues). USB cable is removable (standard mini-B) and the included cable is braided and seems pretty sturdy.

Cons: I don't feel that the Cherry switches really live up to the hype. I expected something comparable to the feel of an IBM Model M, but frankly I don't think these are nearly as good. They're still far, far better than a typical cheap membrane keyboard though. And I suppose not everyone thinks the Model M is the epitome of perfection, so YMMV :)

Overall Review: Only mechanical keyboards I've ever used in the past have been IBM Model Ms, so that's all I can really compare this to. Unfortunately, my current Model M seemed to be dying, and I've been curious to try the Cherry switches, so I figured I'd give this one a try. Thankfully my Model M started working again the day after I ordered (typical...) because this thing is really no replacement. It's got a bit of weight...but not so much that it could double as a self-defense weapon. Sturdy enough to survive a bit of minor abuse, but not *nearly indestructible* (my model M is connected to my living room media center, so it doesn't get the protective environment of a desk). Every time a key bottoms out on this there's a small metallic echo that reverberates through the entire keyboard. The keys click, but it's more of a high-pitched plastic-on-plastic kind of click rather than the satisfying solid clunk of a Model M. From the reviews I've read I'm sure the switches will last just fine, but they feel and sound kinda cheap to me. I'd hesitate to really slam on this thing the way I do with my Model M. It's not a *bad* keyboard, and I'll definitely be using it anywhere that I don't have a PS/2 port...but it's nowhere near the quality of my $10 fourty year old Model M....I'd say they don't build 'em like they used to, but they literally do still manufacture those things...and that's probably what I'll be buying next time I need a keyboard.

Sleek design, amazing build quality.

Pros: Very solid, heavy doesn't move a millimeter even when typing fast, hard.
All the quality none of the useless RGB cr*p.

Cons: No french canada version.

Classy and Excellent Mechanical Keyboard

Pros: - Main frame of the keyboard is made out of metal and is very sturdy
- Classy, minimalistic design
- Cherry MX Blue switches make this keyboard a joy to type with
- For $69.99, this is an excellent Mechanical keyboard

Cons: - Wish there could have been a 'Fn' button on the bottom left of they board, I wish Rosewill could have implemented one instead of another 'Windows' button
- It'd be nice if Rosewill had made this keyboard backlit with (R,G,B,W) leds, but that would make this keyboard more expensive.

Overall Review: Would really recommend this keyboard for a person who is looking to buy their first mechanical keyboard without the need of additional bells and whistles.

Get a warranty

Pros: It's an excellent product that feels high quality and is good to use while it lasts

Cons: The usb port broke literally two weeks after rosewill's warranty expired. This is a recurring problem with this line. Also, their warranty policy doesn't cover shipping, so you're out at least ~$25 to fix their broken product.

Overall Review: There are other keyboard manufacturers who make better keyboard at a similar price. A bit of a rip-off considering how durable most other boards are.
