Pros: Well, it works at USB 2.0 speeds.
Cons: I bought a USB 3.0 card, dock, and this cable and have spent HOURS trying to get USB 3.0 speeds. At first I thought it was the ASUS PCI card, that the drivers were bad, or it wasn't compatible with my 790i Ultra motherboard. I only got USB 2.0 speeds with my setup (36 mb/s), I searched online for the problem and read that sometimes if the cable isn't secure you will not get 3.0 speeds. So I used the cable that came with the PCI card, and what do you know it worked (USB 3.0 at 76 mb/s for 7200rpm drive)!!
Overall Review: Maybe they have fixed the cables by now, but all I know is this stupid $6 cable cost me hours of troubleshooting and months without USB 3.0. It could be said it's my fault for not figuring it out sooner, but I never thought a simple cable could be the culprit.
