Antec Three Hundred Two Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case with Upgraded 2 x USB 3.0

Pros: Fun build. Finished product looks very nice. Ample cable management holes behind mobo panel. The little dim blue LED for power is perfect. Really nice features at this price point. The drive slides lock nicely and it ships with enough parts for each of the six HDD bays.

Cons: There were some fingerprints on the side panels. It looked like a worker at the factory didn't wear gloves during assembly. They were easy to wipe off.

Overall Review: My mobo doesn't have a 30 pin USB3.0 connector. Lucky for me, there is an included adapter for a USB2.0 header. My girlfriend says this case looks masculine.

Pros: - Updated from the awesome Antec 300 case. Bottom power supply dust filter, 2.5" mounts, new hard drive cage with screw-less mounting, new 5.25" mounting with screw-less mounting, behind the CPU cold-intake fan! - Lots of room to route cables in the back. - (2) Built-in two-speed fans (140 and 120) with exterior switches. - Looks awesome! This is what drew me to the original 300, and this is what kept me with the 302 for this purchase.

Cons: - Although the updates from the 300 are nice, there are a few things that were scrimped on. First, there are no more fan cages for the front two fans. I really liked the cages on the original 300. Second, the built-in fans are two-speed fans compared to the three-speed fans in the 300. I always found myself running the middle speed on the 300, and that was a great compromise between airflow and noise. In this case, both fans are really quiet at low speed but the 140mm is just too noisy at high speed. - The 2.5" mounts just blow. The first is behind the motherboard tray, and is inaccessible after you install the motherboard. The other is at the bottom. I've installed SSDs into both, and trying to get data/power cables to them stink because of the tight space - only about 1" to the edges. - My 140mm fan has a 90 beat per minute "click". It's probably just a bad fan. I will be contacting support about getting a replacement fan only, I don't want to ship back the whole case.

Overall Review: I was really impressed when I first bought the original Antec 300 years ago. Although this is a nice iteration on the original 300, I like it but I'm not enamored by it. If the 2.5" mounts were nicer, and I didn't get a bum fan, it would be great. (Also, add a few more tie-down points in the back - my cables always seemed to be in-between the tie-down points.)

Pros: Where to start... LOVE the 3.5" drive mounting brackets. They just snap on, no screws, and the drives slide into place very solidly. 5.25" drives are even better, no brackets needed, just slide 'em in and built-in latches will hold your drives in. Cable management is much improved over the Three Hundred, there is ample cable space behind the motherboard. No need for audio extension any more. I measured just under 13" for large graphics cards, which should handle just about anything. Screened air inlet for PSU on the bottom - nice touch. Also like the motherboard rear fan - another nice touch for overclockers.

Cons: Only has USB 3.0 header for the front ports - only a problem for those with Intel motherboards it seems, but this will cease to be a problem in a couple of months.

Overall Review: It's about 1 cm wider than the Three-Hundred, which is nice for larger air coolers. This is definitely one of the best deals in cases today. I'm very happy with it, and would recommend it to anyone who is considering the Three Hundred - a real improvement.

Pros: This case is a very good deal, especially if you get it on sale. This case features very good cable management options for a mid-tower in this price range. There is lots of space for components. I really like the expansion slot mounting system, it looks a lot cleaner on the inside. Lots of hard drive bays, TWO SSD/2.5" hard drive mounts (one hidden), fan filters (front and under PSU), front panel USB 3.0 ports (which most cases should have by now) Plus, aesthetically it looks clean and professional.

Cons: Since it is a value oriented case, it doesn't have the same amount of features as $100+ cases do. Some of my gripes includes the lack of front fans (I had some left over from my previous case, so no big deal), the non-painted interior, the lack of grommets for the cable management holes inside, but those are mostly because of this cases price point. Some legitimate things I thought could be better is how the case vibrates. The cases panels are rather thin, so if you have troublesome fans, the case is prone to vibration and resonance. If you glued some foam to the inside of the side panels I believe it would help. Another small gripe was that the power/HDD leds are piercingly bright blue, but I just soldered in some dimmer red ones in their place and it's fine. These gripes aren't that bad considering the price point, so I don't believe they constitute removing an egg from the rating.

Overall Review: This is an amazing case for the price, and really most of the cons I listed aren't necessarily needed for a good experience with this case, and I can understand their omission due to this cases price point. You can always mod the case to make up for these shortcomings anyway. I would undoubtedly recommend this case if your looking for a performance case for enthusiast components, but don't want to spend all of your budget on a box for them.

Pros: I've wanted to get an Antec Three Hundred case for a while now, but wanted a case with more up to date features (tool free install, side facing hard drive cage, usb 3.0, cable management) and the Three Hundred Two nailed it! The case is very well built, the fans are very quiet and the two speed control is awesome for when I'm not playing a game.

Cons: Nothing that I can think of.

Overall Review: The case did not come with an internal header adapter for usb 3.0 to 2.0 conversion (to connect front panel usb ports to an older motherboard) but I contacted Antec via their online customer support and within a few hours had a response that they were sending one to me in the mail. I expected that they would send me one, but it was free and I got a response so fast my head was spinning.

Pros: - Simple "black box" look - Easy no-tool HD mounting - Nice dust filters - No goofy RGB lighting - Quiet fans with good airflow - Plenty of room for anything you could possibly think if installing

Cons: If you want a case that looks like a flashing christmas tree with a bunch of glass panels, this is not your case.

Overall Review: I hope Antec never quits making cases like this. I have multiple "Three Hundred" cases that I love, and this one is a nice upgrade over that model.

Pros: Purchased for a photo/video editing build. Upgrading from my old regular tower case (circa 2008) this case was like moving from a 1-bedroom efficiency apartment to a 1 bedroom luxury loft. My C*orsair TX850 power supply had plenty of room for all the cords, it was super easy to install all my components and I LOVE all the extra hardware that came with the case. Many cases I've bought in the past skimp on screws and extra parts but NOT ANTECH! I had lots of room for everything - my giant video card (I only have one), my huge CPU heat sink, the extra drives, and many places for mounting fans. It was somewhat easy to position my components to maximize airflow. Front-end USB and sound really sold me on this case. Installing HDDs was a dream- so easy! Hope the plastic parts hold up.

Cons: For the next version of this case, I hope they will leave a little more clearance at the top of the case between the Mobo and the top of the case. Having the power supply at the bottom has some benefits, I just wish there was a little more clearance when installing cables and components. It was very difficult to plug my CPU fans and a few other things in. Plastic parts may crack/break but extras were included.

Overall Review: I also wish the front screen had a removable filter similar to the power supply design - that is a good idea and I'd like to see more of it utilized. I haven't tested the USB 3.0 ports to see if they are 3.0 but so far they work with 2.0.

Pros: Solid, with lots of room. if you want something smaller...convert a breadbox into a case and stop complaining. Lots of places for fans. Loads of drive space. Also, this thing is one cool case even under load. My cpu and sys temps have never gone anywhere near the redlines. The airflow is great when properly equipped with 2-3 surprisingly quiet fans. a real bargain. The box it came in had a dented corner ion shipping, but the case itself was flawless and unscathed. PSU, MB, fans and everything fit just fine. Very happy with this solid case!

Cons: None i can see.
