The Raspberry Pi Debug Probe USB serial port debugger is plug-and-play
- It adopts a small keying 3-pin debugging connector, designed to be used in conjunction with a single unidirectional clock pin and a bidirectional data I/0 pin. For example, this arrangement can support ARM's Serial Line Debugging (SWD) or something like CJTAG.
- Bridge the USB interface to the dedicated serial debugging interface and the industry-standard UART interface. Although it is mainly designed for RaspberryPi debugging targets, the debugging probe provides standard CMSISDAP debugging and UART interfaces via USB. That is to say, it can be used to debug other targets or only as an efficient USB-to-UART cable.
- This product is equipped with a kit, which includes probe hardware housed in a plastic casing and a set of cables covering the vast majority of use cases. Represented by the quality of Raspberry Pi and its production ecosystem, this is based on the Raspberry PiPico hardware design and runs the open-source PicoProbe software.
